Trashman’s Week 6 Garbage Grab

Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 6

The running back options are the best they’ve been this season, as players dropped like flies in Week 5. Take advantage while you can!

Running Back

Mike Boone, Broncos – 38% rostered

Boone showed in Week 5 that he’s going to be an integral part of the Broncos offense, at least for the near future, posting 85 yards in that game. This week he’ll face a Chargers team that has allowed the most fantasy points to RBs this season, so feel free to flex him.

Tevin Coleman, 49ers – 16% rostered

Coleman scored twice in Week 5, as the no.2 to Jeff Wilson, and he gets a soft Falcons defense this week on a team that seems to throw the ball even less with Jimmy Garoppolo under center.

Deon Jackson, Colts – 18% rostered

Jackson gets a potential start here with Jonathan Taylor sitting once again. Phillip Lindsay will probably be in the mix too, but Jackson seems like the more dynamic back based on the energy he brought last week. It’s probably just a one week deal, but it should be worth it.

Wide Receiver

Alec Pierce, Colts – 37% rostered

Pierce is shaping up to be the no.2 WR in Indy, despite a weak showing at the Senior Bowl this year. He’s turning into more of a possession WR than a deep threat, but that still works for me. Flex him in PPR formats.

Randall Cobb, Packers – 13% rostered

Cobb is coming off a 13 target, 7 reception, 99 yard yard week 5 into a matchup with a middling Jets secondary. He’s a PPR special.

Zay Jones, Jaguars – 20% rostered

The other Jones, Marvin, is out this week so that means more targets for Zay this week. Its a tough matchup versus the Colts, but Jones is averaging 8 targets a game, and that’s a stat we want to exploit.

Wan’Dale Robinson, Giants – 7% rostered

It’s not a certainty that Robinson plays this week, but if he does, he’ll be the most talented Giants WR on the field. A versatile weapon on offense, Robinson can be used all over the field, and the Giants are going to need him to stay competitive with Baltimore.

Tight End

Evan Engram, Jaguars – 34% rostered

Engram had a 10 target, 69 yard Week 5, and he’ll be a strong option against a Colts team that is fairly stout against the other skill positions.

Quarterback

Daniel Jones, Giants – 29% rostered

Jones had his highest passing yard total(217 yards) in Week 5, and he’ll look to improve against the Ravens this week. If he gets Wan’Dale Robinson back, Jones has a couple of high octane options between Robinson and Darius Slayton. His floor has been pretty locked in to boot.

    Boone
    Edmonds
    Juju
    Doubs
    Pickens
    Gallup
    Pickens

    1. Post By Byron Lambert

      Zeke
      Boone

Probably Doubs or Pickens- don’t hate JuJu if you want in on that potential shootout

  2. Gentlemen!! 1-point PPR, do I flex Ezekiel Elliott or Deon Jackson?

    1. Post By Byron Lambert

      Lord have mercy. Prob Zeke

  3. Post By Show Me Your TDs

    14 TM PPR

Running backs are decimated this week with Pierce on Bye and Connor out. I Have Fournette as my RB1.

For my RB2 should I roll R White and play the two Bucs backs or should I get trashy and roll out Lindsey? Nothing else available. Thanks

    1. Stick with White game script prolly works in his favor. Lindsey is so meh.

.5ppr and I have to sit Gabe Davis and Pittman.
Should I play either of them over:
    RB- Hall, Rhamondre
    WR- AJB, Hill
    Flex- Dalvin Cook, Ken Walker

    Thanks!

    1. Looks tight playa

  5. PPR; (2-3)
Need 1 WR and 1 FLEX

    R. Moore @SEA
    Duvernay @NYG
    E. Benjamin @SEA
    K Walker vs. ARI
    D. Henderson vs. CAR
    Boone @LAC

    1. Duv and Eno

    2. I like Duvernay and Walker

  6. Need one ppr m Boone, Edmonds, Boyd, MVS or Garrett Wilson?

    1. Oof Wilson could feed off GB play action weakness?… tough choices playa

    2. Boyd if no Higgins, otherwise I might take MVS in what should be a shootout

  7. Cockamamie starting Pickens over Waddle?
Am I crazy or is the Grab a lot less trashy this year? Dig deeper garbage man!

  8. Not really, considering Miami’s QB situation. It’s still early in the season, haven’t gotten to the dregs yet

  9. 12 team ppr flying squirrel 3-2. 2nd wr since Keenan out. London, or
R Moore, A Pierce, Z Jones on the wire. Thanks,. Only got 3 pts out of Samuels . Love the show and all the hard work you do

Thanks for the supportive words, I’m sure the boys will see the post. Alec Pierce is running hot, we recommend him, but Rondale and London have better floors.

  10. PPR flex: Dobbins, James Robinson, or Doubs. Where’s Trashman’s Flex rankings?!

    1. Scratch that im blind

    2. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Dobbins has that TD upside. And could break a long one today

  11. Standard league, start 1 of these RBs:
    jeff Wilson
    Darrel henderson
    Eno benjamin
Have godwin on the bench too if you think he’ll smash over the rbs

    Thanks RW Nation!

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Jeff Wilson is still the best bet. Either guys could outscore him but Wilson is a dog. Play him

  12. Zeke or Pickens. 10-team .5PPR.

Leaning Zeke just for volume and wary of Diontae coming more into the fray.

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Zeke is the volume play. Pickens is the upside play. We lean Zeke good luck

  13. Are we starting Deon Jackson over James Robinson this week in PPR?

    1. No, Not sure how much Phillip Lindsay eats into his touches. We at least know that JRob will get goal line touches.

      1. Thanks Trashman!

Need two running backs from the following and a flex

    Boone
    Zeke
    Mosert
    Deon Jackson
    Lindsay
    Juju
    Gallup
    Doubs
    Pickens
    Wilson

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

if that is Jeff Wilson that is an auto start. if it is not then the two RBs should be Zeke and Mostert.

Flex, George Pickens, if you are feeling spicey JJSS in the nice matchup

  15. Mostert, Elliott, JuJu

  16. Dynasty question. Gibson owner wants out said he’ll take a 3rd. Worth the investment?

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

a 3rd most definitely yes. Gibson at least is a “one injury away” starting RB. Kahlil Herbert si worth more than a 3rd.

  17. Reading Gibby could even get traded away from Washington and at 23 he’s still got a solid future in this league doesn’t he?

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

He definitely needs a change of scenery
