Trashman’s Week 8 Garbage Grab

Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 8

Pickings are slim in the RB group this week, but those are the breaks this season, where RB1s are dropping like flies. Here’s the grab…

Running Back

Malcolm Brown, Rams – 1% rostered

Brown is the no.2 behind an underwhelming Darrell Henderson on a Rams team that is coming out of its bye week. The matchup against the 49ers isn’t ideal, but Brown should flirt with double-digit touches.

Keaontay Ingram, Cardinals – 1% rostered

Ingram saw 9 touches in Week 7 behind Eno Benjamin, with James Conner out, and Conner is out again so Ingram will once again be in the mix against the Vikings.

Wide Receiver

Robbie Anderson – 14% rostered

Anderson only saw 18% of snaps his first game as a Cardinal, but his role should continue to grow this week against a Vikings team with a middling secondary. The thing about Anderson is that he only needs one play to make your day.

Chris Moore, Texans – 1%

No Neco Collins and possibly no Brandin Cooks makes Moore an actually reasonable flex in deep leagues. The Titans are a top 5 matchup for opposing WRs, so the setting is favorable.

Parris Campbell, Colts

Campbell has gotten double-digit touches over the past two weeks, and I think that’s been part of the game plan, not an aspect particular to Matt Ryan’s game. Now that Sam Ehlinger is under center for the rest of the season, he’ll need a safety blanket underneath and Campbell makes for a cozy one.

Tight End

Juwan Johnson, Saints

Two TDs last week for JJ and Jarvis Landry and Michael Thomas are still out. The Saints have a favorable TE matchup in the Raiders too, so that’s just one more reason to stream Johnson.

Quarterback

Sam Ehlinger, Colts

Ehlinger is a big mobile QB, so he should have a decent floor, regardless of what he does through the air. Washington, the Colts’ opponent this week, is a top 10 QB matchup, so Ehlinger will have some room to work. If he is a success, you’ll have him a week before anyone else gets the chance to pick him up.

  1. Hey RW nation – flex Q. Singletary or Forman. Thanks.

Also just picked up Wan dale and dropped Jamaal. Mistake?
    Thanks

    1. Foreman. It depends on your needs. If you need WR help it’s not a terrible move

  2. In PPR, would you go WanDale or Pickens this week?

Wandale is the play for his floor. Both solid options though

  3. Eno Benjamin or Brandin Cooks for flex? Worried about Cooks gettin sat

Eno is the way. He is the lead runner on his team again today

      1. If Cooks plays out him in over Curtis Samuel? Been benching Cooks cause of trade talks

  4. Gallup or dk

  5. Hey RW Nation,

In a 10 team .5 ppr I’m looking to bolster RB depth and clear out RBs b4 trade deadline.
I have DHenry, KWalker, CEH, AGibson, Gus Edwards, HHaskins and on IR: EliMitchell & CHubbard.

I was looking to offer the CMC owner Eli & Gus for their DSingletary. Does that sound about right? Gus’ usage will likely fall off with DK’s return and I want to hold onto Antonio to see what’s going to happen with his usage.
    What do you think?

    Thank you!
