Trashman’s Week 9 Garbage Grab
Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 9
Love ‘em or hate ‘em, these are the best options available in ⅓ or more of fantasy leagues going into Week 9. Hold your nose and take a peak…
Running Back
Isiah Pacheco – 31% rostered
Pacheco was named the starter in KC before heading into the Wk 8 bye, and though the matchup with Tennessee isn’t ideal, he’s averaging 4.9 YPC and should get enough touches to flex him in PPR formats.
Dontrell Hilliard – 16% rostered
Hilliard has been surprisingly effective in stints this season, in fact he’s scored double-digit fantasy points in 2 of his last 3 games. If Ryan Tannehill is under center this week, he traveled with the team to KC, Hilliard should see considerable action in the passing game against a Chiefs team that can put up a ton of offense.
Wide Receiver
Elijah Moore – 32% rostered
There’s no Corey Davis this week, so Moore gets some juice this week against a Buffalo team that covers the deep ball well. Expect Moore to get enough action underneath to use him in fantasy.
Zay Jones, Jaguars – 23% rostered
Jones plays more snaps than most NFL receivers – he’s in the top 10, and this week he gets a revenge spot against the Raiders. If there’s a week to take a chance on him, it’s this one.
Jarvis Landry, Saints – 17% rostered
Landry is in line to see his first action since Wk 4. He’s the perfect receiving option for Andy Dalton, who’s more of a small ball type QB than Jameis Winston. If Landry goes, he should see plenty of targets.
Tight End
Isaiah Likely, Ravens – 35% rostered
Likely is likely to make the start in Mark Andrews stead, as Andrews missed Saturday practice. It’s not the best matchup – The Ravens play New Orleans, but Likely should see enough targets to warrant streaming him where you need him.
Quarterback
Andy Dalton, Saints – 14% rostered
Dalton has been fantasy worthy the last two weeks, and things shouldn’t be any different in Wk 9 against Baltimore. The Ravens are a top 10 matchup for opposing QBs, and Dalton could be getting Jarvis Landry back in the receiving corps. He’s a safe play.

I need some upside. Worth starting Toney over Curtis Samuel?
Full point PPR need a running back and 2 flex from the following
Deon Jackson
Kenyan Drake
Garrett Wilson

Cam Akers
Jackson, Drake, and Doubs

In a full PPR I might give the edge to Likely. Palmer and Mooney
