*****As a reminder, we always recommend using the Cheat Sheet in conjunction with the Vegas Tool once it is published Saturday evenings as Vegas almost always identifies a few value plays who aren’t necessarily on the sheet, but may provide excellent flexibility cap-wise. Sometimes we will update the sheet through the weekend as information comes in from injury reports, Vegas or elsewhere*****

HOW DOES THE SHEET WORK?

THE GOAL of the sheet is to reduce the number of players for the weekly slate to players expected to generate Positive Surplus Value (fantasy points over salary expected points). The player pool is narrowed down to players who meet a minimum number of trends.

THE TRENDS are a series of pass/fail threshold tests of position-specific stats predictors. Through the use of predictive models, we have analyzed every predictive metric we could for each position related to Vegas Indicators, Unit Matchups, Individual Matchups, Historical Performance, Game Script, Weather, and so much more.

    (A) Current options for 1 WR slot in PPR: Scotty Miller & Desean jackson

    Do I start Scotty or Desean, or do i drop 1 for Golden Tate?

    Haha yes this reeks of desperation, after Godwin was declared out & Juju’s game postponed.

    (B) TE: I have to drop Drew Sample for Logan Thomas to start at this point, right?

    Just seems like Burrow might be trying to spread around to WRs vs the classic Rookie to TE security blanket dynamic. I drafted Jared Cook, but he’s looking a little hurt & unreliable in volume ROS as well.

    Someone dropped Pittsburgh Def (and NO defense) and they are now FA
    I am 3-0 and 1st place Thanks to your great data and advice!
    I do not have anyone to drop to pick up a 2nd Defense

    Should I pick up Pitt Defense to potentially play for the foreseeable future after this weekend (No more Pitt Bye)?
    — I would have to drop LA Rams Def

    I am guaranteed to win this week and be 4-0 (long story). To do this I will only lose the points my Def (LA RAMS) would have scored – usually about 4-10+ points out of average of 140-150 total week team points.

    Good morning RosterWatch. Somebody dropped Slayton in PPR. My bench is Brady, Kelley, Robbins, j Jefferson, Jonnu, a Miller. Since I know you’ll ask, I was planning on playing Fitz over Brady just this week. Is there anyone you would drop for Slayton? I would say RB is my strength on this team and was thinking Kelley but I’m an ekeler owner

    12 team ppr and Joe mixon just went on the injury report. Right now I have David Montgomery and Gurley in my flex. Should I move one of them to rb slot and replace flex spot with mixon, swift, Gibson, moss, or shenalt?

    My PPR 8 League team is horrendous at RB (and probably even QB). What can I do?

    RB’s – McCaffery, Swift, Akers, Murray, Moss – WW has listed McKinnon, Michel, Gibson, Gaskin and plenty of others I’m uncertain.

    QB’s – Brady, Newton – WW has guys like Burrow, Goff, Tannehill

    Can this 0-3 team be saved?

      You need to play all the best matchups to win this wk. I think Brady will be fine on the season- buy you need to asses this wk vs guys like Goff and Fitzpatrick on the WW

      Gibson is a must add over Murray to keep for the season. McKinnon and Gaskin need to be considered for a pickup to play them this week. I’d drop swift or Akers if I needed to — maybe even Cam

    Good afternoon RosterWatch Nation.

    Need some insight for my team due to Covid cancelations.

    12 team .5ppr record 2-1

    I’ve lost Jonnu Smith earlier this week and replaced him with Logan Thomas. Now it appears that I may lose both of my QBs, Mahomes and Cam.

    I will need to drop a player to pick another QB if KC and NE don’t play.

    Who should I drop?

    My team:

    QBs- Mahomes & Newton
    RBs- A Jones, J Robinson, Mostart, Gibson, Bell, D. Freeman, Lindsey.
    WR- Evans, Woods, D Johnson, Hollywood Brown.
    TEs- Jonnu Smith, Logan Thomas.

    Bell and Lindsey occupy IR slots and cannot be dropped due to Thusday nights game.

    Who do I drop between Cam, Jonnu or D Freeman?
