*****As a reminder, we always recommend using the Cheat Sheet in conjunction with the Vegas Tool once it is published Saturday evenings as Vegas almost always identifies a few value plays who aren’t necessarily on the sheet, but may provide excellent flexibility cap-wise. Sometimes we will update the sheet through the weekend as information comes in from injury reports, Vegas or elsewhere*****

HOW DOES THE SHEET WORK?

THE GOAL of the sheet is to reduce the number of players for the weekly slate to players expected to generate Positive Surplus Value (fantasy points over salary expected points). The player pool is narrowed down to players who meet a minimum number of trends.

THE TRENDS are a series of pass/fail threshold tests of position-specific stats predictors. Through the use of predictive models, we have analyzed every predictive metric we could for each position related to Vegas Indicators, Unit Matchups, Individual Matchups, Historical Performance, Game Script, Weather, and so much more.

    Does RW do an updated rest of season ranking?
    I am trying to decide if I should go for Josh Allen and drop Winston. I have Wentz as starter, but would use Allen this weekend. What do you think? Is Winston worth having on my bench?

      Can’t roster two backup QBs. Look at the upcoming matchups. Allen looks nice this wk, pretty sure Alex said on the podcast his upcoming schedule is pretty nice. No problem dropping Winston for Allen based on matchups

    Who should I start? Joe Mixon or Matt Bredia?
    I looked at the Flex Rankings and Mixon was 3 spots ahead of Bredia but on the matchup tool Bredia has the 3rd best matchup upon RB’s while Mixon has the 8th best.

    Patrick Mahomes owner here, I’m in a standard score, short bench league. There’s a lot of decent an options that I plan on streaming or picking one to ride out the storm.

    Here’s my dilemma, I need to drop someone here’s my options.
    Larry Fitzgerald, Damien Williams, A.J. Green, and Tyrell Williams.

    I know we don’t like 1 for 1 trades but looking ahead at the schedules I have the opportunity to make a 1:1 trade. I’d get Leveon Bell and I’d be trading David Johnson. Other RBs are Kerryon Johnson and Leonard Fournette. 1st in my league so thinking about schedules later in the season. Thoughts? FTR I’ve tried getting him to do 2for 1 with Kerryon and another player but no go.
