cousins– Kirk Cousins fared pretty well against Atlanta on Sunday and now has the reeling Cowboys on the plate. Dallas couldn’t stop a Pop Warner team, much less an NFL squad, from having their way with them, so he’s a safe start this week too.

– Jordan Reed is still feeling the concussion he received a couple weeks ago, so I wouldn’t rely on him to be back in time for Week 16.

– Seems like Roddy White is having trouble getting separation these days. You can’t depend on him this week against a stingy 49er pass defense.

– Just when we thought the backfield would clear up in Cleveland, they introduce another back in Edwin Baker. Only a masochist would take a chance on any Browns back this week.

jay cutler– Jay Cutler favors Brandon Marshall and Martellus Bennett more than Josh McCown ever did. This brings Alshon Jeffery’s value down a wee bit. You should still start him.

– Houston has hit rock bottom, and none of their receivers are reliable for week 16, though they will most likely be playing from behind and have to throw. If you have other options, I’d go with them.

– The Colts finally got T.Y. Hilton involved, and the won the game. Seems like a good game plan for Week 16. Kansas City is reeling as a defense and is no longer to be feared by fantasy owners.

– Trent Richardson did his best “real running back” impression on Sunday, and did a respectable job, but I don’t see that happening again against the Chiefs. Don’t chase his stats.

– The lack of production out of Shane Vereen versus the Dolphins was very disconcerting. The Ravens are just as tough against the run, so use some caution. He’s only a flex option this week.

– Seeing as teams are keying in on Vereen, Amendola is back on the radar. I like him this week too.

Lamar Miller– Looks like the Dolphins really are sticking with Lamar Miller. Too bad for Daniel Thomas. He would have made a nice start versus the Bills this week.

– Greg Jennings had to go and have his biggest game of the season against me on Sunday. I don’t foresee him being so productive against Cincy on the road though. Cordarrelle Patterson figures to be a better play due to his value in the return game.

– Adrian Peterson looks to play against the Bengals, but any sign of injury and they will yank him out of the game before you can blink. Cincinnati is notoriously tough against backs, but you have to play A.P. if he goes. He only needs half the carries of mere mortal backs to have a good day.

– All Eagles are full speed ahead this week against the Bears. LeSean McCoy owners have to be licking their chops.

– Doug Baldwin is turning out to be the go-to guy in Seattle. He’s a strong play this week versus Arizona.

– I don’t feel good about any Giants this week on the road against a Lions team desperate for a win.

– Bobby Rainey was useless against the 49ers, and has been a poor play against good defenses since he’s been the starter. I can’t condone playing him this week against a Rams defense that gets better every week it seems.

Ace Sanders– With Cecil Shorts potentially being deactivated this week, Ace Sanders makes an intriguing play again this week. Tennessee is about as tough as it gets against the pass, but Jacksonville has few options.

– Should Jordan Todman get the start this week, he’ll make another nice play against the Titans, who though stifling in the air, are pretty susceptible to running backs.

– I don’t see why Jamaal Charles can’t have another 50 pointer this week. That being the case, No other Chief save Alex Smith is worth a start. Crazy.

– Hopefully people are finally catching onto Streater fever. Pick him and up play him.

CamNewton– Cam Newton and company get another go at the Saints this week, but this time they hold court. They may not win, but at least they’ll make a game of it this time.

– New Orleans has to be fuming over their Week 15 loss to the Rams. They will do all in their power not to let that happen again this week with a full-out aerial assault. No Saints back is a safe play though.

– Dallas will run the ball this week. A lot. Murray is a RB1.

– Matt Flynn has enough of a handle on the on the QB situation in GB that Jordy Nelson is a solid play regardless of who is under center.
