Denver Broncos

The Broncos already had a strong arsenal of offensive power going into the draft, and they have an embarrassment of riches coming out of it, adding WR Cody Latimer and RB Kapri Bibbs to the fold. Coaches have already said that Latimer has a chance to start this season. Demaryius Thomas is safe as the go-to, and Wes Welker mans the slot, so it would be Emmanuel Sanders that would lose time if Latimer really progresses this season. Bibbs is no immediate threat to Montee Ball, even with his impressive college career.

Kansas City Chiefs

There are no real rookie threats in Kansas City, as RB De’Anthony Thomas projects to play more of a slot receiver role, if anything at all, this season.

Oakland Raiders

The Raiders added much depth to the offense this off-season, but most of it came in the form of trades and free-agency. QB Derek Carr is a project QB right now, and probably won’t see the field this season. Aside from him, only UDFA WR Mike Davis has a shot at cracking the starting lineup, but he projects to be a situational deep threat, and not much else.

San Diego Chargers

The Chargers backfield is a crowded one with Ryan Mathews, Danny Woodhead, Donald Brown, and now Marion Grice on the roster. Mathews has been named the starter, but any one of the other backs could come into the game at a moment’s notice, with Grice on the end of that pecking order. Mathews is hardly a lock to stay healthy either, as we well know.
