RosterWatch Ultimate Fantasy Draft Cheat Sheet V.2 NOW AVAILABLE

rosterwatch_logo2014
RosterWatch Nation, the time has come to dominate your fantasy drafts once again. The original three-step cheat sheet is now available for download. Most of you have used the Cheat Sheet in previous seasons, and if so, you know it’s the simplest and most easy-to-use fantasy football draft tool on the market.

Users of the Cheat Sheet in 2014 were, by design, instructed to select season-changing options at extreme value in players such as Mike Evans, Odell Beckham, Kelvin Benjamin and Jeremy Hill. It’s an unbelievably successful tool that we put months of effort into creating annually.

The Cheat Sheet is a sheet of paper you print out, then mark off names as players go off the board. If you follow the three simple rules (even a toddler would have no problem understanding them), you are, as always, GUARANTEED and expert-quality draft.

Just don’t break the rules.

We’d wish you good luck but you don’t need it.

  1. Here’s the team I drafted, I landed the first pick in a 10 team .5 point PPR league…what do you think? Thanks!

    AP
    J Hill
    AJ Green
    Brandon Cooks
    Andre Johnson
    TJ Yeldon
    Kelce
    Agholor
    Cam Newton
    Rams
    A Robinson
    Duke Johnson
    Eifert
    John Brown
    Gostkowski
    Palmer

    1. Amazing team brother! AP and Hill in 1/2 pt PPR is going to be lethal! You were still able to score big at WR and TE- and have a great combo of QBs. Love that you got Yeldon, Agholor, and Brown as well!

      Best of luck!

      -Byron

      1. Thanks! I nearly got laughed out of the room when I took Agholor. No one seemed to even know who he was…felt like I was in the twilight zone…but in a good way. Would you pick up Funchess in place of anyone on my roster?

        1. We like Funchess too- I think you could get away with dropping Eifert or Palmer- but can totally understand keeping those guys

With KB going down with an ACL tear, would you drop anyone now, to pick up Funchess? I’m really worried about having Cam as my QB now. I do have Palmer, and the only guys on the wire are Flacco, Bortles, Fitzpatrick, and Tyrod Taylor.

          2. yes, i’d go after funchess, but if you can’t get him, don’t forget about cotchery or brown. you can probably have them for peanuts.

    2. Team looks sick, nice work.

  2. Just signed up for RosterWatch Pro; how do I download the UDC sheet? The link above keeps asking for $2.99/mo, which I’ve already signed up for!

  5. New to your sheet….listening to your show yesterday and you said to not fill roster spots in your draft, just follow the rules of the cheat sheet. I did a mock draft using it and if I followed the rules strictly, I would not have chosen a QB at all. Is this the correct use of the sheet? I assume if that is the case, you would then think that I would good enough players for a trade for a QB? I’m in a 10 team keeper league, PPR. Thank you!

    1. Hi TouchdownDoc,

We were saying generally speaking in the early portion of the draft you need to take the best player available regardless of position. However, every draft is a little different and you should use some discretion. So, yes if you have already drafted a QB- don’t draft a 2nd one even if the Sheet tells you too- just go on to the next best skill player. Or, if you are happy with your roster of skill players by mid to late rounds- then feel free to deviate a tiny bit and select a QB if it’s a close call on the sheet and you need a QB.

In the situation you are describing it sounds like you must have gotten great skill players- and the sheet forced you to take them- no problem with that- it’s actually a terrific outcome. Our advice there, if guys like Rivers, Tannehill, Stafford are off the board- just wait until the end of the sheet to take Palmer or Bradford. Best of Luck! Look for V2.1 tomorrow, and there may be some changes with the QBs

New to the site. Heard you guys yesterday on SAT Radio. I have a draft question for you. I am in an 8 Team Full Point PPR league and I landed the 8th pick. My plan is to take the best available RB/WR and at 9th I was thinking of taking Gronk if he’s not already gone. Does this sound like a smart move?

    1. In an 8 team league there should be plenty of top tier wr/rb left after Gronk. There are only a couple of top te, so it makes sense to take gronk there.

  7. 12 team league with standard scoring.
I know in a standard draft things would flow a little differently but in my main league we have a 1 keeper rule. Because of that Somebody has Lacy in the 3rd, L.Bell in the 6th, and Gronk in the 4th. I have Hopkins in the 8th which I’m pumped about thanks to the cheat sheet last year.

Anyway, with the number 2 pick i’ll be taking Jamaal with Bell gone assuming AP goes 1. the way it shakes out there on the sheet in my mocks though I end up taking like Ingram and Gore before it gets to the 2nd tier of receivers. I know things will change by the time we actually draft in a few weeks but was curious if you thought I’d be alright with like B. Marsh as my 2nd receiver behind Hopkins or should I grab sanders in the 3rd?

Thanks for all the great content!

    1. We feel confident with Marshall as a no.2. The way the sheet is designed, you should end up with plenty of contingency plans should he falter. Only take Sanders if you absolutely hate the rbs available at that spot.

  8. Just used the cheat sheet in my home league – 12 Team Standard League:

    QB: Rivers
RB: Forte, Randle, Latavius, Yeldon, Ivory
WR: Odell, Hopkins, E Sanders, Agholor, Perriman
    TE: Martellus

    omg

    1. JEEZUS. Drafting in a 12 team standard tonight, would to get close to that team.

  9. Trashman, should I handcuff Forte with Ka-Deem Carrie or Jeremy Langford? Who wld best fill in if he gets hurt?

    1. JP, neither according to preseason usage. From all indications, Jacquizz Rodgers looks like the no.2.

      1. lol typical trashman answer.

  10. FYI – The issues with not being redirected to the cheat sheet should now be resolved. We thank everyone for their patience. BTW, These are some sick teams that yall are drafting, goodness gracious.

HI, I am also new to the cheat sheet so I did a mock standard 12 team draft and followed the rules of the cheat sheet to the letter. This is the team that was drafted:
    1. Matt Forte (Chi – RB)
    2. Dez Bryant (Dal – WR)
    3. Latavius Murray (Oak – RB)
    4. Emmanuel Sanders (Den – WR)
    5. Amari Cooper (Oak – WR)
    6. Martellus Bennett (Chi – TE)
    7. T.J. Yeldon (Jax – RB)
    8. Todd Gurley (StL – RB)
    9. Nelson Agholor (Phi – WR)
    10. John Brown (Ari – WR)
    11. Breshad Perriman (Bal – WR)
    12. Tre Mason (StL – RB)
    13. Andy Dalton (Cin – QB)
    14. Carolina (Car – DEF)
    15. Josh Brown (NYG – K)

I was wondering if it was a good idea to wait until round thirteen to pick a quarterback like the draft sheet suggests, or should I have gone for a better QB earlier in the draft? Also, is it correct to assume that the defense and kicker should be picked in the last two rounds?

    1. TGN, after the top two QBs, the difference between the next ten QBs is marginal at best. There’s a 2 pt difference of fantasy points per game between the 3rd and the 17th ranked qb in 2014. Unless you can get a rodgers or luck at good value, it’s best to wait. and you’re right, those should be your last two picks. Seattle is the only def that might cross my mind before the next to last round.

This is an amazing team, we are trying to figure out how you got some of the players you did! We’d prefer, a QB in the Rivers / Stafford range- or even a Palmer or Bradford juste slightly earlier than Dalton. We’ll probably move those guys up a tiny bit in the next release.

Following the sheet to a T will always work- as you mocked an incredible squad that will have plenty of trade ammo- however yes- feel free to use some discretion once you get to the later rounds in terms of filling out the roster. Ex- let’s say you already have Dez, Sanders, Cooper, Agholor, Brown- at that point we deviate only slightly off the sheet to go QB instead of Perriman for example – and that would have likely netted somebody in that Rivers, Stafford, Romo, tier

    3. I can’t believe you got that team in a 12-team league. Some of these drafts are ridiculous.

  12. Does Rosterwatch do any 2 QB cheat sheets? Thanks for all of the info guys!!

    1. We don’t have a 2 qb sheet, but we advise moving the qb group to start right behind bell and to make your cutoff for your first qb after rivers.

Drafting on Saturday, any plans on a new version coming before then with the Benjamin injury? Thanks!

    1. This is a good question! My first draft is Sunday night so I also want to make sure I have the most updated version.

  14. Just found out I have the 5th pick in a 10 team .5 ppr yahoo league. We start 2 rbs 2 wrs and 1 flex. I am a fan of the cheat sheet, but if I don’t get le’veon or Peterson, I’m leaning towards taking Antonio Brown at 5. I’m. confident of grabbing either McCoy forte or cj in rd2 and ingram or latavius in rd 3. Any thoughts or advice??

    1. In general I would say to make sure you get your best starting lineup before looking at any backups in a ten team league. Also, if Luck or Rodgers happens to fall, it might not be a bad idea to snag one of them, as they should be in a league of their own this year. Also, having an elite TE in a ten teamer is a good idea, as everyone is going to have comparable rb and wr groups. te is one of the few positions in which there are a few guys who are heads and tails above the rest. I would take forte in rnd 2 if he’s there. He’s indispensable in pprs.
