RWi RosterWatch Week 11 Matchup Tool

This is a proprietary weekly tool provided by RosterWatch.alex byline It is designed to be a decision-making tool for gauging the defensive opponents your fantasy players face. If you are new to this, our time-tested, most popular tool, the instructions couldn’t be simpler, and can be found below.

Week 11 Matchup
To use the tool, think about your fantasy player.

Let’s say you own Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater, and would like to see how he matches up against the defense he faces this week.

First look at the Vikings’ matchup for the week, and see what the number is inside the “vs. QBs” cell for the Vikings’ OPPONENT.

(Teddy is a QB, and you would like to know his opponent’s rank vs. that position.)

As you will see, the Vikings are playing the Bears, who have a big, blue ‘No. 1’ in their “vs. QBs” cell. This is a great indicator for owners of Teddy Bridgewater or those thinking about utilizing him as a cheap daily play.

Repeat the same process for other players on your roster as you are trying to decide which players to start, sit or pick up off the waiver wire for matchup or daily-league spot-plays.

“1″ is the best matchup, “32″ is the worst.

BLUE: Best Matchups
LIGHT BLUE: Borderline Top Matchups
LIGHT RED: Borderline Bottom Matchups
RED: Worst Matchups

The rankings represented here are derived via a proprietary algorithm which takes into account not only standard “fantasy points against” metrics, but also weighted averages of separate individual player scouting grades for members of the 2014 unit that will be defending, pass-rushing, or covering against the position in question in Week 11.

  1. Trade help, standard league: rbs are lacy, Ingram, Robinson, vereen, Jennings, fjax and Rainey. Wrs are Jeffrey, Benjamin, Roddy, Hopkins, Michael Floyd. I was offered Cobb for lacy, thoughts please?

    1. It’s a fair trade. Having RJ and MI as 2 RBs gives you the flexibility to do it, but then you’ll having to be deciding every week on your WRs. If you feel like you like it, do it.

  2. Doing strangely well in our very competitive 12 team 1/2 PPR league despite my woes at QB. I have Jay Cutler and Kyle Orton. Do you suggest making a trade for a top QB – who would you trade from the list and for which QB?

RBs – Arian Foster, Alfred Blue, Rashard Jennings, Amahd Bradshaw, Reggie Bush
WR – Antonio Brown, Demarius Thomas, Brandin Cooks, Mohamed Sanu, Andre Johson
TE – Travis Kelce, Larry Donnell

    1. We wouldn’t hate trying for an upgrade. Maybe see if you can get a Matt Ryan for Orton + Sanu. GL.

What’s outlook on R.Matthews? Trade Reed for him? Leaves me with Rivera@TE. My RBs are Forte Jennings and McKinnon.THANK U!

    1. yes I would make that trade

  4. I was offered Torrey smith for martavis Bryant. I’ve got Benjamin megatron jackson and Davonte Adams. Helps with bye issues but I’m leaning to saying no. What do you guys think?

  5. Okay I have a rb conundrum… I need to start 2 rb and 1 flex in a full ppr, I have:
Mathews, FJax, R. Jennings, west, miller, Crowell, blue at rb
And wrs I can flex (I have Julio, mega, and Evans in my 3 wr spots) are ODB, K. Allen, and Djax.
So I need 2 of those rbs to start, and a flex out of the rbs and wrs. I gotta flex ODB right? And would you start any of those wrs over the ones I have in my 3 wr spots?

    1. we’d flex djax and probably West and Jennings. GL

  6. Standard league. Crabtree or Watkins? Donnell, reed, Rainey for a TE and flex.

  7. need one of these: Damian Williams, Benny Cunningham, Carlos Hyde, Marion Grice or Knile Davis. 14 team/ non-
    PPR

  8. In a twelve team ppr and need a flex from the following players: Brandin Cooks, Larry Fitzgerald, or Brandon LaFell. Many thanks!

    1. we’ll go Cooks when he’s at home. GL

  9. Matt Ryan or Matthew Stafford this week?

    1. Really like em both but we’d go Ryan, couldn’t blame you for going with either one, somebody’s going to go big for the Lions.

  10. 10 team ppr need two to start two of the following three RB’s: Vereen, Bradshaw, Ellington, also is it crazy to start Sammy Watkins over Julio?

    1. don’t start anyone like Watkins when he’s hurt over a healthy Julio. We’d go Bradshaw Ellington GL

  11. Question, 14 Team Standard Scoring flesky question. Trent Richardson or Bishop Sankey? Thanks!

  12. Need 1 for my flex. Joique Bell, CJ Anderson, Jordan Matthews. Thanks guys. Keeping bringing that fire and sizzle.

    1. yessir= we hate CJ ANderson normally, but would roll with him this week given those options. GL

  13. Pick 3 RB’s out of Ellington, Jennings, West, and Vereen.

    1. Ellington, Jennings, and West

  14. Flex question, Bishop Sankey or Trent Richardson? 14 Team Standard Scoring. Thanks!

  15. terrifik1-

All indicators are in Richardson’s favor. Good luck.
