Lost in “The Year of Adrian Peterson” was the near-miraculous comeback Jamaal Charles made from his reconstructive knee surgery. In any other season, 1,745 total yards and a 5.3 yards per carry average would be a virtual guarantee for Comeback Player of the Year.

Put that in perspective when reviewing the chart below in appreciation of Charles, while soaking in the absolute greatness that is AP. Peterson didn’t produce a single unconscionable fantasy performance in 2012.
