Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 12

Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 12

RosterWatch.com

Hopefully you don’t have to use any of these guys as you slip into the playoffs, but you shouldn’t feel to bad about it if you do. Here’s your Week 12 Garbage Grab…

Quarterback

Ryan Tannehill, Dolphins: I usually don’t advocate for Tannehill, but the emergence of DeVante Parker and the weak defense of the 49ers makes him a reasonable streamer this week.

Runningback

Kenneth Dixon, Ravens: Dixon is in an almost 50/50 timeshare with Terrence West and should get little to no resistance from the Browns front four. His chances may be even with West for snaps, but he’s owned in about a third of the leagues West is.

Bilal Powell, Jets: Powell has been very useful to a Fitzpatrick that can’t get the ball down the field to his receivers. He should get plenty of action against the Patriots, as the Jets are likely to be playing from behind most of the game.

Wide Receiver

Tajae Sharpe, Titans: Sharpe is looking shades of his early season self over the last several games, and it has everything to do with Mariota’s inspired play. Up against a Bears defense that is bound to get worn out from being on the field too long due to an ineffective Matt Barkely, Sharpe’s prospects are good for another productive week.

J.J. Nelson, Cardinals: Floyd is looking doubtful, and the Falcons are allowing over 280 yards a game through the air. Nelson has disappointed after a big week 8, but the stars aligning for a major day for Nelson.

Dorial Green-Beckham, Eagles: DGB has overtaken a shell-shocked Agholor for the no.2 WR position in Philly.  Coming off of a 58 yard, 1 TD game in week 11, DGB is in good shape to better those numbers against an unintimidating Green Bay secondary.

Marquise Lee, Jaguars: Lee has been the Jaguars’ most consistent WR for the latter half of the season, so it’s crazy that he’s only owned in 10% of leagues. His ceiling isn’t high, and he’s much more useful for PPR leagues, but he’s a fine flex in any format against the Bills this week.

Malcolm Mitchell, Patriots: If Gronk nor Hogan can go, Mitchell is in line for major targets and red-zone consideration. He’s going to be great for New England one day soon.

Tight End

C.J. Fiedorowicz, Texans: Fiedo has been in the grab more than most this season, but that’s just because he’s killing it every week, and he’s still owned in under 35% of leagues. He’s going to be solid all season as Osweiler’s warmest safety blanket.

Jared Cook, Packers: Cook had a coming out party in Week 11, his first week back from a multi-week injury absence, in which he went bonkers for 100+ yds and a TD. If he does half of that this week he’s still worth the play.

I moved Diggs to the IR this week so I got a roster spot open for this week. My TE is Jordan Reed, little worried about him going forward though. Who’s the trashy pickup for week 13 CJF or Brate?
