Often times, there is nothing tougher (or more important) than deciding who your weekly flex-plays are. It can be a mind-numbing experience having to make cross-positional projections.

This season, our RosterWatch PRO community will have personal and exclusive access to our very own disgusting Trashman, who has carefully curated his personal weekly flex rankings in order to help you in gaining input about your roster decisions.

PLEASE Keep in mind, these are not our official RosterWatch Week 1 rankings, but we’ve learned over time to pay extra-special attention to what the Trashman might have up his filthy sleeve – and where he stacks up players against one another for the coming week’s slate cross-positionally.

Our OFFICIAL rankings page here on the site will continue to be updated through the day Saturday and Sunday morning as more information comes in and we become more comfortable with player slotting. In the meantime, have a look at how the Trashman sees Week 1’s Sunday and Monday slate shaking out – as his inputs to our formula are a key (albeit smelly and gross) component.

  1. Trashy as usual – thanks! Someone in my league has Bell and needs a starting RB this week – I have C. Michael on the bench, and could offer him C.M. for DeAndre Washington, and then maybe get Decker if I throw in T. Sharpe or J. Matthews. Thinking too much?

    1. with the news that Lynch is considering a comeback, the raiders have 1 spot left open on their roster, and Lynch is an Oakland native, i’m not rushing out to get washington just yet.

  2. good stuff trashman. Need some flex help. 12 team / .5 ppr w/ big play bonuses: you think Crowell or T. Lockett? thx

  3. has anyone else reported issues not being able to get to the google docs site? I get a privacy warning and don’t have the option to proceed on multiple browers. I’m on my work network at a big company which im sure is the reason but I couldnt get to the handcuff priority tool when it was released last week either, and lets be honest, there is going to be a lot of time spent on FF at work throughout the year.

here is the error Chrome gives me:

docs.google.com normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Google Chrome tried to connect to docs.google.com this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be docs.google.com, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. 1. kyle, you are the only one we have heard this from, but I have passed along your message.

  4. tylor boyd or michael thomas , who do i pick up off waiver?

  5. Crowell or Matt Jones? ESPN standard scoring. Rankings have Jones and trashman has crowell… Piece of trash. Where the robot at?

would you start Maclin or Fitzgerald over Decker or Crabtree this week? I am already starting Ware so I have maclin on the bench

    1. Post By rick152763@gmail.com

      sorry
      ….. 1 pt per rec

  7. Darn already got burned by benching Bejamin last night because he was so low in the ranks + the matchup tool hated that matchup so hopefully K. Allen, Maclin, D. Jackson can each score more than 18 pts in my 3 WR spots!

Now I need to figure out my FLEX between M. Jones vs. PIT or Henry vs. MIN ?! It’s half PPR scoring and I’m torn because Trashman has Jones 16 spots over Henry but the rankings have Henry 4 spots over Jones and the Matchup Tool gives only a slight edge to Jones!?

  8. Also who do I start in my PPR league with weird bonuses?

Rushing Yards: 8 yards per point; 8 points at 110 yards
Receiving Yards: 10 yards per point; 8 points at 115 yards

Abdullah @IND or Rawls vs. MIA

  9. Ok I’m Taking advantage of my first set of questions for my annual membership… Thanks for all the help with the draft information! All standard. Perhaps overextended myself with five leagues but I am completely committed. A few questions spread through my teams this week…

    1- RB … Pick 2; AP, Freeman, D Williams

    2 – QB… Ryan or Dalton

    3 – WR pick 3….A Robbinson, M Floyd, G Tate, S Diggs

    4 – flex … S Ware or J Landry

Sorry to blow you up with all the questions at once, hopefully you can help. Thanks again.

  10. Need to get Gronk out of there sonce he is out this week.

I’m having a hard time deciding between MGordon and ICrowell for my flex. KC is tough against the run and Reed always has his team ready to go week 1, but Gordon looks pretty good this year. OTOH Philly has a much better matchup for Crowell, but he isn’t the RB Gordon is and at best will split with Duke Johnson, AND the CLE OL looks poor. So I’m not sure.

  11. Are the flex rankings PPR or standard?

  12. Need 2 ppr, m. Jones jr. , Landry, Edelman, Djax roster watch nation rocks

  13. Need 1 WR – Corey Coleman, Kevin White, Tavon Austin (Standard League). Thanks!

Notable FA – Boyd, Doctson, Perriman

  14. Why don’t you think the Patriots used Bennett at all with Gronk out, that shocked me

    1. He may have been blocking more against a tough Ari defense. Gronk returning may actually free him up more.
