PRO Week 9 Touchdown Dependency % + Added Metrics (Top 200 RB/WR)

An old standby of RosterWatch Nation are Touchdown Dependency metrics. Every season, we begin tracking these in Week 4, and the numbers are in for Week 9

Overly touchdown-dependent players offer unsustainable and unpredictable long-term production.

These players are good candidates to sell high on in our season long leagues. And, are players to consider fading in our DFS lineups.

  1. Trade Jay Ajayi for Hopkins?

    1. I would not. Hopkins has been one of the most disappointing players in fantasy. Sure he has a nice schedule ahead but his QB is really holding him back.

    2. no, hopkins has been ordinary with osewiler.

  2. Agree with Great’s logic- but I could go either way on this one. I’d have to double check DH schedule- but if it’s good- this move is purely based on your roster need IMO. I NEVER feel bad turning Jay Ajayi into DeAndre Hopkins. But, Great’s point is well taken- crazy- but it’s pretty close.

  3. Baldwin was released and on waivers. I don’t know timing for Wilson’s expected full recovery and see they have a mix of easy/hard games through week 16 but thinking it is a no-brainer to try grabbing him for ROS. My WRs are Cooper/Moncrief/C Coleman/TyWill/Britt (WR is my weakest position). It’s a 10-team, standard league and I’m in 4th place and focusing on ROS.

Should I try to get him, and if so, should I drop Britt? Thanks; you all have helped me climb out of a 0-3 hole.

    1. Yeah- we’d scoop him up- it’s between Moncrief, Coleman, and Britt. CC is our boy- so I think we’ll keep him. Britt or Moncrief – we’d look at the scheds.

  4. Would you flex Ty Montgomery (assuming all is well), C Coleman or Devante Parker this week?

    1. yikes- prob Parker on the outside vs the NYJ DBs. Would go back and look at his recent snap % and targets- same for Montgomery.

We love CC- and could def see him breaking one off this week- but are ok with waiting a week on him letting the maniacal plans come together.

  5. I have Carolina and Arizona defenses and Stafford and Palmer — would you drop the Arizona defense to pick up Dax or Mariota ? I am thinking that I might lose a top 5 D if I try for a better QB than Stafford. Thanks. Welcome all comments including those from the Great!

close call- depends on how desperate you are. We rarely roster two defenses, but neither of those QBs move our needle a ton. You should look at the upcoming matchups for all players involved. How many teams in this league? What does the QB wire usually look like?

If you need one of those QBs this week to get a win- make the move. Check our QB rankings , as well

      1. 10 team league — most likely make the playoffs – Foles, Flacco Siemian and Marioto on waivers — Ariz playoff schedule — @Miami, NO and @ seattle —
Stafford and Palmer may work for playoffs — Stafford — (14) Bears, (15) Palmer — NO, (16) stafford @dallas
Really don’t have anyone else to drop — handcuff T coleman, D lewis, J Howard, S ware,
Got a big game from evans so now inclined to stick with stafford this weekend and keep ariz D
Good decision? let me know what you think?

        1. Don’t love Stafford this week- I’d make the move and go for the win this week. Would go Mariota or maybe even Foles. Of course, matchups are back to back on matchup tool. Higher O/U for Mariota but he’s on the road.

          1. Thanks for your thoughts: may pick up a QB Saturday and then Ariz would we up for grabs under FAAB next week — then again — Stafford had 2TDs in each game with the Vikings last year.

  6. Stash gillislee or Perkins?

  7. Rest of the season… Crowder or Jackson. 1/2 ppr. I own Jackson and have been disappointed all year. I can get Crowder, but I’d have to drop Jackson. Which one, or should I cut my losses with both? Side note 10 team have to start 2QB’s each week and I have Cousins……
