    Hey guys,

Just did a mock draft with the cheat sheet and got a real solid squad except I finished with no QB or TE (or Defense/Kicker). If this happens in my real draft should I still follow the rules & hit the waiver wire or spend my last 4 picks on these empty positions?

    Thanks!

    1. Do’t draft a Kicker. Go ahead and spend the last 3 picks on the others. Aim for one of these 4 defenses late: 1. Ravens 2 Rams 3 Chargers 4 Saints. When 1-2 of those defenses go off the board think about taking whichever is remaining with your next pick. All good defenses to begin the first weeks of the season.

  2. Post By Show Me Your TDs

Just finished my first draft of the season 10 team PPR out of the 7 slot. 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1 Flex, K, D/ST. Had to stray a little bit when I was at 6 RBs and 3WRs and saw all the RBs lining up for my next few pick, but here is my team:

    QB: Rivers
RBs: Saquon, Fournette, Mckinnon, L. Miller, Burkhead, K. Johnson, Penny
WRs: Adams, Cooper, Hogan, Fuller, Agholor, #millertime
    TE: Reed
    D/ST: Tennessee
    K: Butker

    1. Outstanding!

      Jesus, that’s monster!!!!!! Epic!

  3. Hey hey hey so I’ve never been in any kind of dynasty league before and I just got invited to partake in a live auction dynasty (2 year commitment) that’s set to draft on Sunday. Here’s the only details I’ve gotten about it are:

PPR, $80 budget must fill 26 roster spots and use at least $60 of your budget. Waivers work like the nfl where a team with waiver priority can absorb a cap hit for playes in waivers.

So based on this what advice would you give if I decide to join this league? Do I just use the PPR sheet and study how to use it auction style?

    1. 1-Do your starting bids on players you don’t want.
2-Make sure that you get at least one first round talent and then the values at the end will sustain you. Don’t overspend for a qb as great qbs go for 1$
3-Most auctions are 200$ for 16 spots or so. So any pricing you see don’t pay attention to as they aren’t for an 80$ budget and needing 26 players.

    2. Post By Byron Lambert

The ppr sheet w/ the auction rules would actually be fine, but the rookies will need to be pushed up since it’s dynasty. The auction rules will allow you to quickly locate crazy value once the market begins to set itself.

      1. Appreciate the reply Byron and I found the rules to the auction style of using the cheatsheet but how do I account for the fact I just found out more about the roster construction:

QB, RB, WR, 4 Offensive FLEX, and the following IDP: DL, LB, DB + Defensive FLEX, 2 IR spots, they count towards the cap… and finally a Kicker.

So man what you recommend bringing to this draft?

  4. First draft last night. 10 team PPR, with the cheat sheet. Had Adams and Hill as keepers in the 13th and 14th rounds (huge value). 4th overall pick in a snake draft. Deviated a bit from the sheet towards the later rounds because I had Adams and Hill locked in….

    Thoughts on this draft?

    QB: Wentz, Cousins
    RB: D. Johnson, D. Freeman, M. Ingram, I. Crowell
    WR: D. Adams, T. Hill, A. Thielen, S. Watkins, J. Gordon, D. Funchess, D. Parker
    TE: Njoku
    D: Patriots
    K: Prater

    1. Post By Byron Lambert

You’re stacked man! Hopefully you can ride Crowell at RB3 until Ingram comes back. You are set to dominate! Enjoy the season, thank you for your support!

  5. Need some help with an IDP draft, I’ve never done one but I plan on winning that league too…so it’s a one player IDP but my question is what players / position group should I target and at what point in the draft should I take my IDP player

    1. Post By Byron Lambert

You need linebackers with high tackle volume. Obvious guys are: Keuchly, Telvin, CJ Mosley etc.

Others to consider who might be a bit more under the radar: Myles Jack, Alec Ogletree, Bernadrick McKinney, Rueben Foster, Roquan Smith

  6. Cheat sheets are humming along!! 10 team, PPR, 1qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1wr/te flex, 1 wr/rb flex 6 bench

Heres the squad fellas!! From 2 hole..

    QB- Ben Roethlisberger
    RB- Zeke
    D. Freeman
    A. Collins
    D. Lewis
    R. Burkhead
    I. Crowell
    WR- M. Thomas
    J. Gordon
    JuJu
    A. Miller
    N. Agholor
    S. Shepard
    C. Godwin
    TE- J. Reed

    1. that’s a squad right there. who the heck is in your league.

  7. Post By gr8one_22@hotmail.com

With Jeffery out for beginning of season from sounds of it do I drop one of these to get Agholor? Somehow he was not drafted.

    Jones Jr
    E. Sanders
    Shepard
    JuJu

Already have my starting 2 WR’s.

    1. Agholor is ahead of Shepard on the sheet. If your must do it I would say Shepard..not any of the others.

  8. Post By dan.machamer@gmail.com

I have been doing a lot of mock drafts with the cheat sheet at #2 pick. Two scenarios I keep coming up wtih
    Rd 1 – D Johnson
    Rd2 – Mixon
    Rd3 – TY

    Or
    Rd 1 – D Johnson
    Rd 2 – Mixon
    Rd 3 J Howard or J. McKinnon

So I’m trying decide 3 RBs or 2RBs and 1 WR. If I go 3 RB to start I’m landing a lot of C Hogan in the 4th as my #1 and maybe Marvin Jones as my #2 WR. Do you think going 3RB leaves me too short at WR. I can see log in both.

    1. For me personally I would go with TY in the 3rd as I think you can still get viable #3 RB in the next few rounds. TY could be a top 10 WR your getting in the 3rd round. To much upside to pass up for me if the next best we #1 will be Hogan.

  9. Cheat Sheet PPR
Draft strategy if my league drafts 2RB 3WR 1 TE and 1 Flex (RB/WR/TE) QB (4 pt per pass TD)
Still follow the rules and list – or slightly more emphasis on obtaining WR?
    Thanks for the help

    1. Post By Show Me Your TDs

I just did one with the same setup, you can scroll above to see my results. I followed the sheet until I was getting running back heavy and could tell my next couple picks would also be RBs so I strayed slightly (a spot or 2 down), but it wasn’t much at all.

  10. Post By dude6guy9@gmail.com

Is there an updated handcuff sheet?

  11. The more I think about the cheat sheet–the more I compare it with the ESPN 300 or the fantasy Pro composite rankings–the more impressed I am. The construction is so simple yet so thorough. So easy to use. I just love the way the running backs, wide receivers, quarterbacks, and tight ends are lined up on rows. Also, Byron posted that if two different cells are touching you can flip-flop the draft pick. Left my own devices my outcome would have been far inferior.

  12. Post By JeffCraig0203@gmail.com

Question: I feel like I’m getting great results passing on Hopkins, ODB and Julio, and taking (if i feel guaranteed I’ll have two of) Fournette, M.Gordon, D.Cook, K. Hunt. Is this a good strategy and should I add McCaffrey to that as well.
    12 team .5/Standard

P.s. I took M. Gordon over D. Cook in a 10 team standard because you guys said Gordon would get off to a fast start. And Cook is back from a knee. Bad move?

You guys are the best, I was 3 Championships last year!!! Thank You!

      Hi guys,

I used the magical cheat sheet in a (1 point per every 5 catch league).
Kenny golladay, Anthony Miller, Mike Williams, Keelan Cole, Chris Goodwin
All that I’ve heard you talk about it and show. Should I drop anyone to pick up any of these guys?

Also, should I drop Carolina defense for Detroit?

Thank guys! You guys are awesome!

      Qb: Derek Carr
Rb: fournette, Gordon, K. Johnson, Ingram, Carson, Blount
Wr: Hilton, Hill, Gordon, Juju, Sanders, Watkins

Hey guys I have kind of a problem. Ive been using the cheat sheets religiously this season so Im hoping it pays off as I know it will. However, I just joined a league that is a standard league but with IDP. There is no cheat sheet for this and you guys do not have IDP rankings. Can you help me out to figure out when to start taking IDPs and who to target? Thank you.

    1. From my post above:

“You need linebackers with high tackle volume. Obvious guys are: Keuchly, Telvin, CJ Mosley etc.

Others to consider who might be a bit more under the radar: Myles Jack, Alec Ogletree, Bernadrick McKinney, Rueben Foster, Roquan Smith”

    2. When I do IDP my general rule of thumb is fill out most of your starters and maybe 2-3 bench spots before selecting your IDP’s regardless of what others are doing.

      1. Post By Jhintz2010@gmail.com

Thank you that sounds like a plan. Thanks.

  15. I totally love your cheat sheets! Looking forward to another championship run 🙂 Crazy that Yahoo would have the nerve to give me a C+, me personally felt that I killed in our draft by following your cheat sheet! thanks again guys for all the hard work you do for us !

    1. We eat bad Yahoo draft grades for breakfast around here. Enjoy a great season! Thank you for your support!

  16. 10 team Standard keeper league. I have the 2nd pick and 2 of these 3 will be available: D. Johnson, Bell, Barkley. In other leagues, I have D. Johnson and Bell. would you recommend going with Barkley to spread the injury risk? Or middle fingers up and take DJ?

For the next 2 rounds, I will get 2 of these players based on who else was kept: Fournette, Julio Jones, Keenan Allen, Dalvin Cook, Michael Thomas, and Davonta Freeman. 🙂

Q2: When would you recommend taking Guice? I can put him in an IR spot for the year and make him a keeper next year. (for every keeper, max 3, we lose a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd round pick)

    Thanks!

    1. It’s close enough, I’d put my middle finger up and go Barkley for shits and giggles. He could easily be replicate Zeke or David Johnson early career performances.

Love Fournette and Keenan- obv stoked about all the other guys too. Hearing great things about Thomas.

I’d take Guice with one of my last 2 or 3 picks if I really wanted him

Are there ranking/matchup tools each week like last year?

    1. Yes, stay tuned

  18. Guys how much of Faab would you spend on the new S.F. Backfield

    1. Very little

  19. Hi guys I love and listen to Rosterwatch year round and can’t get enough of the content. I won’t miss a show on Sirius Xm either. You are single handedly the best n the business. My question pertains to a 12 team half point ppr redraft league that I am participating in. We start 1 QB, 2RBs, 2WRs, 1TE, 1 Flex (RB, WR or TE) 1 K & 1 D. Before the season starts I need to drop one of my roster players for a kicker. Looking for advice on who to drop from my roster below. Thank you guys you are the best!

    QB – Jimmy Garoppolo
RB – Christian McCaffrey, Alex Collins, Adrian Peterson, Aaron Jones, Alfred Morris
WR – DeAndre Hopkins, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Allen Robinson, Kelvin Benjamin, Randall Cobb, Anthony Miller, Courtland Sutton, Christian Kirk
    TE – Jimmy Graham
    K –
    D – Pittsburgh Steelers

Thanks fellas and keep up the great work!

    1. Unfortunately, prob Sutton if you’re married to Alf. Kelvin is a consideration too

  20. Any thoughts on who to replace McKinnon with from the SF roster?

    1. I’d personally look elsewhere. Currently, it’s Morris or Breida

  21. Results from my draft last night in a 14 Team .5 PPR
    Rivers
    Kamara
    Howard
    Peterson
    Montgomery
    JuJu
    Goodwin
    Agholor
    Cole
    Miller
    Tyrell
    Ertz
    OJ Howard
    Ravens D

    1. Very nice for a 14 tm!

      1. This years cheat sheet is so magical. Thanks guys!

  22. Already have a trade offer sent my way, 10 Team PPR, keeper league, Guy wants Fournette and any of my WR’s and my 4th rounder for Jordan Howard, Sammy Watkins and his 1st pick for 2019, pull the trigger if so which WR am I sending

My RBs- Fournette, Kamara, Miller, Burkehead, Crowell
My Wrs- Hilton, Robby Anderson, Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson, Anthony Miller, Lockett, Galloday, Washington

      1. Agree w/ Trash

    1. In a 10 tm keeper I’d prob ship Lockett off. Close call, if I wanted to win this year, I’d lean towards keeping Fournette. Have not evaluated next year’s class yet- but I’d want to make sure that RD1 pick was Top 3-5

    1. great looking squad! i wouldn’t do it this week. detroit is likely to get a darnold, a rookie, in his first start for the jets.

  24. PPR. I do not see Geronimo Allison GB-WR on the cheat sheet. Is he not viable to start the season?

    1. I just don’t care about Allison. He’s not going to be on our rosters and he’s not going to be a guy we feel bad fading.

  25. Post By gr8one_22@hotmail.com

2 QB league, was offered Matt Ryan and Hopkins for my ARod and Sterling Shepard. My 2nd QB is Watson. So I would have the Watson Hopkins connection. Do I do it. My best WR is Hilton, then Landry.

    1. I’d take that deal in a heartbeat.

      1. Post By gr8one_22@hotmail.com

Ryan doesnt scare you after last year? Or difference between him and Rodgers isnt that bad compared to Hopkins and Shepard.

I just signed up for draft cheat sheet and don’t see the actual auction $$ values
im in a very high priced draft tomorrow night and really need to know what the players are worth because order doesn’t mean anything. Hoping there here please help

    1. Here are the rules for the auction cheat sheet. They can’t really put dollar amounts on the sheet because every league is different as dollar values are related to team budgets. I use Fantasy Pros. You can enter your budget and it will give you avg dollar values for each player. Hope this helps!!

      FOR USE IN AUCTIONS

      1) Next to each player, in space provided, record the player’s auction price to the winning bidder.

      2) With opening bid, nominate a player you are not interested in, preferably outside of the Top 10-15 range positionally as listed.

      3) Take a non-aggressive approach to early bidding and allow a small market sample of winning bids to appear recorded on your cheat sheet.

      4) Identify auction nominations where it appears players higher up on the sheet may be had for less budget than players below him went for.

      5) Bid aggressively on players in these situations until the value no longer exists

Completed my second draft and ironically had the 7yj pick again. 10 tm PPR. set up 1QB 2 RB 1 te 1 flex. Here is my team:
    QB: Garoppolo
RBs: Kamara, Fournette, Collins, Burkhead, J. Williams, K Johnson, Chris Thompson
WRs: Evans, Thielen, the Anaconda, Cobb, and #MILLERTIME
    TE: Reed
    D/st: LAC
    K: Elliot
Alresdy got a trade offer for Kamara for D. henry and wentz. Obviously i declined thact faster than i got it. Looking forward to my last and deepest draft later today.

  29. Should I grab Chubb bc I have Hyde? Drop one of the following. A Miller j Ross, k johnson? Or just stick with what I got? Got fornette and hunt as started. Hyde on bench? Thanks roster watch Nation

    TE- Travis Kelce
    K- Harrison Butler

  31. Hey what happened to the OL rankings sheet? Not on the pro download page anymore – looked at it last week but was hoping for an update after the Cowboys and Panthers injury situations.

  32. When will we get wk 1 rankings?

  33. Hey guys — I’m in a 12 team PPR keeper league, keeping Odell Beckham, Jr and Kareem Hunt. I’m drafting 4th and would really like to get another running back there since there won’t be much left for the next round (a lot of the tier 2 guys being kept). Top available players are: David Johnson, Saquon Barkley, DeAndre Hopkins, Michael Thomas, Julio Jones, Christian McCaffrey.

Question 1: I think Barkley may make it to me, so if he does do I take him even though that leaves me with OBJ + Barkley and fairly dependent on the Giants?

Question 2: If the answer to 1 is no, or if Barkley is gone, do I take McCaffrey over Hopkins, Thomas, Jones?

Note I can keep whoever I take for 2 years after this year.

    1. Note: Obviously I would take Johnson if he makes it to me, but I’m expecting he’s going to go to the guy drafting first.

    2. barkley or hopkins

Guys im nervous about this Bell thing…I don’t think hes gonna kill himself even if he shows up..Im picking in my #1 home league of which u guys help me win for the 1st time last year. I’ve got the 2nd pick overall..The guy picking ahead of me already owns Mel Gordon as a 5th rd keeper…I own Gurley as a 3rd rd keeper…D Johnson and Kamara are keepers as well…Leaving Bell, Zeke, Brown, Barkley, Fournette available to be picked….Also nervous about Zeke oline situation…Which way should I lean I think the guy picking one is leaning Brown. Help

    King of the North

    1. zeke if you’re scared of bell. dallas’ o-line went from being no.1 to still fairly good with strong chances of improving.

  35. RosterWatch Nation need your help!! I have the 5th pick in a 1pt ppr draft tonight. Pretty sure it will be Zeke or Kamara on the board. Having a hard time taking Zeke here. Just a bad feeling. Do I just take Zeke with the pick??

    1. Take kamara

Didn’t see Geronimo Allison on .5/standard sheet. Took him as a flier just wanting to know your thoughts on him. My WR are hurting after blowing my auction budget on gurley, fournette and mixon. 14 team league .5 ppr so I need some breakouts at wr

    1. i think he’s got a lot of potential to produce. probably makes more sense in a ppr league, but he’s going to be on the field most of the time.

  37. Just finished my last draft 0.5ppr
    RB-Fournette, Henry, KJohnson, Wilkins, Yeldon
WR-KAllen, JGordon, Sanders, Jordy, Golladay, Miller time
    TE-Graham
    QB-JimmyG, Carr
    K-lutz
    D-Chargers

  38. 10 team ppr draft 1QB 2 RB 3 WR 1 RB/WR/TE 1 TE w/ 10th pick
My team is a little RB heavy…
    Luck
Hunt, Mixon, R. Freeman, Burkhead, Hyde, J. Williams, A. Jones
Hopkins, JuJu, Agholor, A. Miller, Godwin, C Kirk
    Burton
    Ravens D
    Tucker
Should I be concerned about my WRs or is there enough upside there?
    Thanks

    1. no, i think you’re good for a ppr format. young guys, but they are ready to produce. burton helps a lot too

  39. Hey guys. Who do I drop for a D. Westbrook dj Moore or Anthony miller?

  40. Used the magical cheat sheet – Thank you!
    10 team PPR : 1 QB. 2 RB. 3 WR 1 Flex (RB/WR/TE) 1 TE – in a league where opponents usually draft 2 QB and 2 TE
I Did not draft a Kicker so now I need to drop a player and pick up a Kicker. Who should I drop?

    QB Garoppolo
RB Kamara, MGordon, JMixon, JamaalWilliams, Chris Thompson, Sony Michel, Matt Breida
WR: TyHill, JuJu Smith-Schuster, MarvJones, CHogan, NAgholor, AnthonyMiller

Who to drop for a Kicker?
Should I consider a backup QB (Mariotta/Goff/Carr. still on the board)

    Thank you!!!

    1. i’d drop breida. i don’t usually carry backups in 10 teamers. there’s always someone available

  41. Trashman, we of the BHB are having our superflex draft tonight. That said one of the members prompted a question about the superflex cheat sheet.

Is it supposed to be the same as the full point ppr sheet and if so shouldn’t the placement of the rb’s and wr’s essentially match up? They don’t in this case. Is ppt taken into account for the superflex or what standard is it based on?

    1. That’s a great question but one that Alex would have to answer, as he is the architect of the 2 QB sheet. you might be able to catch him on twitter. I think it might be more closely related to the standard sheet from just looking at it. Good luck tonight!

    2. apparently it’s .5

  42. Post By mack.6432@gmail.com
