PRO 2026 Rookie Spotlight: J’Mari Taylor, RB Virginia

After five seasons at North Carolina Central, accumulating 1,882 rushing yards and 615 receiving yards, Taylor transferred up north to Virginia, where he split the backfield 60-40 with Senior Harrison
Waylee.

Cody Carpentier’s 2026 NFL Mock Draft 2.0

The College Football season is complete. We just got home from the 15th annual trip to Mobile for the Panini Senior Bowl, and I’ve got a few takes in my back pocket. So we’re back to bring you the third iteration of my 2026 NFL Mock Draft Series.

PRO 2026 Rookie Spotlight: Seth McGowan, RB Kentucky

McGowan has played in 31 career games (8 at Oklahoma, 12 at New Mexico State, and 11 at UK) with 21 starts (11 at New Mexico State and 10 at UK). Coming out of high school, he was a consensus four-star recruit coming out of Poteet High School in Texas and a Top 200 player.

PRO 2026 Rookie Spotlight: Rahsul Faison, RB South Carolina

Hardly becoming eligible to play before the 2025 season, Rahul Faison transferred to South Carolina in January of 2025. He was ineligible until August 25th, the week of their season opener against Virginia Tech.

PRO 2026 Rookie Spotlight: Roman Hemby, RB Indiana

After four years of good football at Maryland, finishing with 800+ yards from scrimmage in 3 of 4 seasons. Roman Hemby transferred to Indiana, where he finally crested 1,000 rushing yards in the 14th game of the season.

PRO 2026 Rookie Spotlight: Le’Veon Moss, RB Texas A&M

I’ll come out and say it, If Le’Veon Moss didn’t have the injury history he does at Texas A&M (2024 ACL Tear + 2025 Ankle Injury), causing him to miss significant time in 2025, he would have a near 1st round grade for me.

PRO 2026 Rookie Spotlight: Kaytron Allen, RB Penn State

Kaytron Allen was a pinball of a rusher at Penn State, racking up nearly 5,000 yards from scrimmage and 43 touchdowns. Allen is the definition of a finisher on any given run, and that is one of the clear key reasons he was able to carve out such a large role sharing the backfield with Nick Singleton (2026 draft prospect).

PRO 2026 Rookie Spotlight: Jonah Coleman, RB Washington

Jonah Coleman is a running back with a super low center of gravity and twitchy lateral moves and acceleration at the Line of scrimmage. In pass protection and play action opportunities, he isn’t the best salesman you’ll find.

PRO 2026 Rookie Spotlight: Jam Miller, RB Alabama

Jam Miller is a high-cut runner who carries the ball high and tight for excellent protection—he fumbled only twice in his four-year career at Alabama across 389 touches. His short-area acceleration isn’t elite for a running back of his size, I’ll be interested to see what the NFL Combine scale lists his weight at; his frame is dense but gives more of a 208–210 lb vibe.
