According to league sources, New England is on the verge of signing free agent receiver Brandon Lloyd. The proven veteran would make a stellar ying to Wes Welker’s yang in Foxboro, as the outside threat the team has been searching for. One would have to think that there are too many mouths to feed in New England with all the tight end action as well, but Tom Terrific has shown time and time again he can make relevant players out of his entire receiving crops. Chances are Lloyd has lost some of his shine for fantasy players since his monster campaign two  years ago in Denver, so you can probably snatch him up a round or two later than he’s actually going to end up being worth. Let’s hope this thing sticks.
