Cody Carpentier’s 2024 NFL Mock Draft 6.0 (6 Rounds)
We are now officially 2 weeks away from the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit, Michigan. Alex Dunlap and I will be in Detroit with the PlayerProfiler team broadcasting for all three days live from their draft house. I am here today, however, to bring you the sixth iteration of my 2024 NFL Mock Draft Series. As in prior years, the Mock Draft Series will add one round per iteration with Mock 8.0 coming the night before the 2024 NFL Draft, Live from Detroit.
Round 1 – (Pick 1-32)
No. 1 – Chicago Bears – Caleb Williams, QB – USC
No. 2 – Washington Commanders – Drake Maye, QB – North Carolina
It was always Drake Maye, the flat circle that is the NFL Draft comes back to the the starter line with Maye and Williams at the top.
No. 3 – Las Vegas Raiders via NE – Jayden Daniels, QB – LSU (TRADE)
Jayden Daniels heads to the West Coast, this time with one of his former coaches, Antonio Pierce.
No. 4 – Arizona Cardinals – Marvin Harrison Jr., WR Ohio State
No. 5 – New England Patriots via LAC – J.J. McCarthy, QB – Michigan (TRADE)
No. 6 – New York Giants – Malik Nabers, WR – LSU
The Giants have been missing a dynamic playmaker and 1,000-yard receiver since 2018 when Odell Beckham was healthy.
No. 7 – Tennessee Titans – Joe Alt, OT – Notre Dame
One of a few locked Draft Picks if the board falls how the team wants it to. The Titans drafted Peter Skoronski out of Northwestern in Round 1 last year.
No. 8 – Atlanta Falcons – Quinyon Mitchell, CB – Toledo
Quinyon Mitchell is +1000 to be the first defender drafted in 2024.
No. 9 – Chicago Bears – Olu Fashanu, OT – Penn State
No. 10 – New York Jets – Rome Odunze, WR – Washington
No. 11 – Minnesota Vikings – Michael Penix Jr., QB – Washington
No. 12 – Denver Broncos – Terrion Arnold, CB – Alabama
No. 13 – Los Angeles Chargers via LV – J.C. Latham, OT – Alabama (TRADE)
In the perfect world that is Jim Harbaugh’s team building, the Chargers move back and still capture their top-ranked Tackle in the class.
No. 14 – Baltimore Ravens via NO – Brock Bowers, TE – Georgia (TRADE)
The Mega trade takes the league by surprise. I have a hard time seeing Todd Monken not warning GM Eric DeCosta about the impending Bowers to Cincinnati draft pick. DeCosta trades up to 14 and establishes the best tight end room in football.
No. 15 – Indianapolis Colts – Nate Wiggins, CB – Clemson
No. 16 – Seattle Seahawks – Dallas Turner, EDGE – Alabama
No. 17 – Jacksonville Jaguars – Jared Verse, EDGE – Florida State
No. 18 – Cincinnati Bengals – Graham Barton, OL – Duke
Extremely versatile Offensive Lineman with the ability to start on the interior in 2024 and move outside in 2025.
No. 19 – Los Angeles Rams – Byron Murphy II, DT – Texas
Aaron Donald exits stage right, and Byron Murphy enters stage left. Murphy isn’t Donald, but he is a damn good dominator.
No. 20 – Pittsburgh Steelers – Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB – Alabama
Mike Tomlin and co. smile and wave as they add McKinstry to the secondary.
No. 21 – Miami Dolphins – Johnny Newton, DT – Illinois
No. 22 – Philadelphia Eagles – Brian Thomas Jr., WR – LSU

No. 23 – Minnesota Vikings via CLE – Troy Fautanu, G – Washington
Michael Penix at 11 overall, and his teammate Troy Fautanu to play Left Guard, would be a Tier 1, A+ draft for Minnesota.
No. 24 – Dallas Cowboys – Jackson Powers-Johnson, C – Oregon
No. 25 – Green Bay Packers – Darius Robinson, DL – Missouri
Lock Darius Robinson in for Round 1.
No. 26 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Laiatu Latu, EDGE – UCLA
Top 10 Talent falls to 26 overall, not something I believe will happen or love posting.
No. 27 – Arizona Cardinals via HOU – Taliese Fuaga, OL – Oregon State
No. 28 – Detroit Lions – Chop Robinson, EDGE – Penn State
No. 29 – San Francisco 49ers via BUF – Cooper DeJean, CB – Iowa
