Cody Carpentier’s Way-Too-Early 2027 NFL Mock Draft

Way-Too-Early.. Says who? The NFL has become a year-round league, from the season, free agency, the draft, and offseason OTAs to fall camp, the league never sleeps, and neither do we at RosterWatch. Mike Band and I finished in the top 15 of the 2026 Huddle Report competition, while our guy Alex Dunlap finished middle of the pack. So it’s back to the drawing boards and time to begin research on the 2027 class, not only to improve our mock draft skills but also to enhance our Dynasty Fantasy Football overview.

Round 1 – (Pick 1-32)

No. 1 – Miami Dolphins – Arch Manning, QB – Texas

Everyone remembers the first month of 2025, but they forget that the 6’4″, 230 lbs third-generation Quarterback finished the final six games of the season with 19 total touchdowns, 2 interceptions.

No. 2 – New York Jets – Dante Moore, QB – Oregon

Many expected Dante Moore to enter the 2026 NFL Draft, but he heads back to Oregon after falling one game short of the National Championship game.

No. 3 – Arizona Cardinals – LaNorris Sellers, QB – South Carolina

Tons of upside and projections are built into the LaNorris Sellers profiler, but he is built for it at 6’3 240 lbs. South Carolina spent A LOT of money to keep him in Columbia, along with his teammates Nyck Harbor and Dylan Stewart. And that’s without mentioning the Transfer Portal and HS Recruiting Class.

No. 4 – Atlanta Falcons – Jeremiah Smith, WR – Ohio State

The Best WR Prospect since Amari Cooper, Julio Jones, AJ Green, and Calvin Johnson. Do not be surprised if one of the teams above takes him over a QB. He’s just that great!

No. 5 – Tennessee Titans – Cam Coleman, WR – Texas

I don’t have real conviction on Coleman at 5, he is the AJ Green to Jeremiah Smith’s Julio Jones in this draft class and looks to develop more as a route runner at Texas in 2026 after transferring from Auburn. However, his utilization will not be quite on par, as he plays with up to 10 other offensive draftable prospects at Texas.

No. 6 – Las Vegas Raiders – Colin Simmons, EDGE – Texas

Speaking of Texas, Simmons has been a superstar since he signed papers and showed up in Austin. 29.5 TFLs over the first two seasons to go along with 21 sacks.

No. 7 – New York Giants – Leonard Moore, CB – Notre Dame

One of, if not the best, cornerbacks we have seen enter the NFL Draft as a Junior since Jalen Ramsey at Florida State in 2015.

No. 8 – New York Jets (via IND)- Dylan Stewart, EDGE – South Carolina

Stewart is the superstar on the opposite side of the ball to LaNorris Sellers at South Carolina, and his 10.5 TFLs and 6.5 sacks as a true freshman in 2024 put him in this conversation from Day 1. However, he never took the step forward in 2025; we are expecting him to be a cornerstone of the draft.

No. 9 – Jacksonville Jaguars – Trevor Goosby, OT – Texas

Goosby debated entering the 2026 NFL Draft and may have gone in this exact spot to Kansas City had he declared. Instead, he heads back to Texas, where his brother will be a true freshman on the Basketball team.

No. 10 – Pittsburgh Steelers – Jordan Seaton, OT – LSU

After two seasons in Boulder at Colorado, Seaton entered the transfer portal, received a Brinks truck, and drove down to Baton Rouge. He is reportedly down 15+ lbs and in the best shape of his career.

No. 11 – Cincinnati Bengals – A’Mauri Washington, DL – Oregon

Random stat: Washington led the country in batted passes among all Defensive Lineman. Washington is a marauder on tape; he doesn’t always get home, but he averaged almost 2 pressures per game in 2025.

No. 12 – Minnesota Vikings – Quincy Rhodes, EDGE – Arkansas

Rhodes has 35 pressures in 2025, finishing in the same ballpark as Dylan Stewart(above), Malachi Lawrence (Rd 1 in 2026), and TJ Parker (Rd1 in 2026).

No. 13 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers – David Stone, DL – Oklahoma

With Gracen Halton’s departure from Oklahoma, the door is open for a true leader of men in former 5-star David Stone. Many believe Oklahoma could have the best defensive line in the sport this season. Stone had 1 pressure every 10 pass rush attempts this season.

No. 14 – Carolina Panthers – KJ Bolden, S – Georgia

The 14th highest graded Safety according to PFF in 2025, Bolden finished with 48 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 5 pass break-ups. He’s top 10 in almost every metric.

No. 15 – Cleveland Browns – CJ Carr, QB – Notre Dame

My 4th Quarterback off the board felt forced. I think Cleveland will be solid this season, and one of Watson or Sanders pans out to make things awkward. Cleveland takes a QB once again just to push the envelope; this time, it’s Carr from down the road in South Bend.

No. 16 – New England Patriots – Anthanie Knapp, OL – Notre Dame

LT – Lomu, LG – Vera-Tucker, C – Wilson, RG – Knapp, RT – Campbell… WOW!

No. 17 – Washington Commanders – Lance Heard, OT – Kentucky

No. 18 – New Orleans Saints – Matayo Uiagalelei, DE – Oregon

No. 19 – Los Angeles Chargers – Trey’Dez Green, TE – LSU

No. 20 – Chicago Bears – Jacarrius Peak, OT – South Carolina

No. 21 – New York Jets (via DAL) – Omarion Miller, WR – Arizona State

No. 22 – San Francisco 49ers – Koi Perich, S – Oregon

No. 23 – Kansas City Chiefs – Ellis Robinson IV, CB – Georgia

No. 24 – Dallas Cowboys (via GB) – Ryan Coleman-Williams, WR – Alabama

No. 25 – Denver Broncos – Ahmad Moten, DL – Miami (FL)

No. 26 – Philadelphia Eagles – Yhonzae Pierre, LB – Alabama

No. 27 – Houston Texans – Ahmad Hardy, RB – Missouri

No. 28 – Detroit Lions – Kade Pieper, OL – Iowa

No. 29 – Baltimore Ravens – Damon Wilson, EDGE – Miami (FL)

No. 30 – Seattle Seahawks – Trevor Lauck, OL – Iowa

No. 31 – Buffalo Bills – Isaiah Horton, WR – Texas A&M

No. 32 – Los Angeles Rams – Kewan Lacy, RB – Ole Miss
