Quincy Enunwa, WR Nebraska Cornhuskers
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 225 pounds
40 yard dash: 4.45 (Combine)
NFL Comparison: Anquan Boldin
Scouting Notes:
Enunwa was a leader on and off the field at Nebraska where, in his senior year, he was both team captain and MVP. He also set the team record for touchdown receptions in a season at 12. The former ‘Husker is a hustler, elevating well to highly placed balls and boxing out defenders with his brutish physique. He’s fast, too. Enunwa’s 4.45 40 time in this year’s Combine came as a surprise to many, especially because he is such a brawny player (Only five receivers had more bench press reps). The most glaring weakness in Enunwa’s game is that he’s not a hands catcher in the purest sense. He uses his body to stop balls, and drops more of them than he should.
Fantasy Outlook:
Enunwa’s combine performance should attract plenty of suitors in the draft, and I think he’ll be a contributor on any team that picks him up. He has the ability to play both the X and the Z and his size and blocking ability will ensure he’s on the field more often than not, even if he doesn’t catch everything that comes his way. Enunwa won’t be any QB’s first option, but I eventually see him producing as a third receiver.
