Hope you let all your emotions out yesterday when the NFL players on your fantasy squad either gave you some points or stunk it up for you (again). I’m going to take a look at 10 IDP’s that were top performers, who I’m looking forward too on Monday Night Football. We’ll also go over IDP’s who are solid waiver adds, as well as who you can say good-bye too without feeling bad.
Lets start this off with some IDP’s I’m looking forward to watching in tonights game:
Denver Broncos
Elvis Dumervil, DE – Over/under: he sacks Matt Ryan 2 times.
Tracy Porter, CB – Was week 1 a fluke? No – tons of opportunity thrown his way.
Von Miller, LB – He’s going to get after Ryan, a lot.
Wesley Woodyard, LB – Another big week? Or middle of the pack week.
Atlanta Falcons
John Abraham, DE – Mostly a steal late in drafts, he’s still solid.
Sean Weatherspoon, LB – I hope his hamstring holds up, borderline LB1.
Stephen Nicholas, LB – Known to disappear, lets see what he does for an encore.
William Moore, DB – is Moore finally coming around? I hope so.
Stop What You’re Doing and Pick These IDP’s up.
1. Tim Jennings, DB, Bears – 3 int’s in 2 games and will continue to get
opportunities thrown his way, solid DB2 start rest of season.
2. Henry Melton, DL, Bears – 3 sacks 4.5 tackles for losses in 2 gm, GET EM.
3. Tramon Williams, DB, Packers – High risk/high reward with him.
4. Cameron Jordan, DL, Saints – 15 tackles 1 TFL 1 sack so far.
5. Russell Allen, LB, Jaguars – 12 solo in wk 2 – solid for heavy tackle leagues.
Drop: Adrian Clayborn, DL, Bucs – disappeared through 2 games, better options available on waivers, just keep an eye out on him in near weeks to see if he does anything.
Hold: Eric Berry, DB, Chiefs – don’t panic yet, he’s coming off a knee injury but he’s too talented to not be productive, numbers will come & soon.
Rising: Jerraud Powers, DB, Colts – 8 tackles and 2 PD’s in week 2 (will continue to get many opportunities as he gets thrown too a lot)
