Jacquizz Rodgers: The next Darren Sproles?
Jacquizz Rodgers: The next Darren Sproles?

Word in the locker room is that Falcon’s coach Mike Smith has been singing the praises of second year RB Jacquizz Rodgers, and plans to extend his role on offense. This comes as no surprise as Michael Turner is losing step bit by bit, and Rodgers is the compact and speedy change of pace back that is gaining popularity in the NFL, thanks largely to utility man Darren Sproles. This is a copycat league, and Rodgers could be the beneficiary of a working trend. Coincidentally, a move to get Rodgers more involved could actually help Turner stay fresh and make more of an impact when he is on the field. Target the little guy in the late rounds, and don’t be surprised if he ends up providing fifth round value or better.
