Back in the day, you said it out loud to a group of 3-4 friends and had a laugh about it. Today, if you are a professional athlete- your wallet should tell you that some things just aren’t meant to go out to tens of thousands of followers. Especially when you are a mediocre kicker for a perennial garbage franchise.

Scobee really knocked this one through the uprights:

 

 

He then began to backpedal a little bit.

 

The next morning, after being told by his agent  deep-soul searching, Scobee issued the following contrite apology.
