My Vegas Picks: Week 6

My Vegas Picks: Week 6
Byron Lambert, Rosterwatch.com

This is the time of the season I start feeling a little frisky for some extra action. By now I feel like I am getting  solid handle on who is who and what is what. I like to think I am conservative and as all good prognosticators do, I only pick sure things.

This weeks winners:

Redskins +3  – ‘Skins are at home. They might lose to an Eagles team with its back against the wall but I’m not sold. WAS is playing well PHI is not. Give me home field plus the points in a tough divisional game.

Colts +6.5 – On the road but seems like good value to me. CIN isn’t that great and Indy is looking a little more competent.

Money Line CAR +155 – On the road in a tough divisional game against an underwhelming ATL team. The Panthers are going to start winning some of these close games. Watch out for Cam Newton and Steve Smith. I think its a coin flip so I like the value.

Money Line BUF +155 – On the road. I think they might be better than the Giants. BUF is playing really well. Holy Fred Jackson!

On the fence:

If you need extra action I’m on the fence about DET -4 @ home vs. SF. I kind of like it and will be thinking long and hard. No gimme though.

** A bunch of road picks this week. That never sounds good. We’ll have to see how this shakes out.
