No surprise here but coach Ron Rivera says Kelvin Benjamin, Jerricho Cotchery and Jason Avant have emerged as Panthers top 3 WRs.

Steve Reed of the Associated Press says it’s “no surprise” that these three have received the starting nod, and it’s no surprise to RosterWatch Nation, either. We’ve had the unique opportunity to bring our readers and listeners a very in-depth view of Kelvin Benjamin through the draft process, and RW is probably the only fantasy outlet that has had Benjamin ranked as our at the top of our fantasy rookie WR rankings since the Panthers called his name on draft night.

The Panthers receiver corps has been the butt of jokes since losing Steve Smith and Brandon LaFell through the 2014 offseason, but folks close to the team are much more optimistic than the general public seems to be about the unit’s potential.
