RosterWatch 2020 In-Season Content Schedule

alex bylineThanks to all the new members of the winning family we call RosterWatch Nation. Now that we are in the process of finishing up our drafts and are set to begin a new season, here is an overview of the content schedule you can expect on the site from week to week as a PRO member.

I encourage you to use as many of the tools as you can in order to make the best personnel moves and sit/start decisions possible. Also, please note that Byron, the Trashman and I will, as always, be periodically monitoring the comments sections of the most recent posts on the ticker to answer all of your questions through the week (excluding the final hours leading up to kickoff on Sunday mornings as radio and other last-minute rankings-related responsibilities make that time extremely busy for us), so ask away. We are here to help. Through the 2020 season, we will be integrating new content not listed here, such as premium video chats and sit/start streams as well as other new video content that, to this point, is still in the works, but that we are excited about rolling out when the time is right.

Remember, some of these tools, such as the waiver wire cheat sheet and the waiver wire podcast will not be available until Week 2. Byron’s TradeCast will start back up around Week 3 or 4. Otherwise, we’re now looking full-steam ahead to Week 1, even though Week 1 does not bring the full suite of tools that subsequent weeks will when there is data from the past week to be added to the mix. Next week will be a lot busier around here from a content perspective.

We thank you guys from the bottom of our hearts for your support and reader/viewer/listenership. It is our promise and our sole mission to do everything in our power to give you the best and most insightful information we can to help you win in fantasy, no matter the lengths we must go to get it. We are a NATION.

    I’ve got my first week one conundrum. Which stack is more appealing this week. Full PPR, standard QB scoring.

    First time I’ve drafted (auction) more than one QB in redraft in who knows how long.

    Hey RW, so we just drafted and I was the turn at pick 12 in a PPR league. I ended up with Ekeler as my RB1 per the draft cheat sheet. So I went D. Adams #1 and Ekeler #2. I have a trade pending from pick 9 that is offering Mixon for Adams. My RB2 is J. Taylor and my WR2 is A. Robinson. Any thoughts?

    The sheet was more than magic. It was on fire!

    12 team superflex, snake draft. 1 minute per pick.

    Here’s my draft order:
    Ezekiel Elliott, Joe Mixon, Davante Adams, Todd Gurley, Odell Beckham Jr., DJ Chark, Cam Newton, Joe Burrow, Baker Mayfield, Patriots, Jk Dobbins, Ceedee Lamb, Duke Johnson, Jannu Smith, and Blake Jarwin.

    Qb’s: Cam Newton, Joe Burrow, and Baker Mayfield.
    RB’s: Ezekiel Elliott, Joe Mixon, Todd Gurley, JK Dobbins, and Duke Johnson.
    WR’s: Davante Adams, Odell Beckham, DJ Chark, and CeeDee Lamb.
    TE’s: Jonnu Smith and Bake Jarwin.
    D/ST: NE Patriots.

    Duke Johnson was a mistake. I was crossing stuff off the list and checking things and he got auto drafted to me 🙁
    Our league settings have D/ST scoring up to 40 points so I took that Pats as the 5th defense off the board. They play the Jets and Dolphins twice.

    My only week one dilemma Odell Beckham or DJ Chark? Todd Gurley is my flex.

        My only other comment is Baker Mayfield. You guys have him ranked higher than FP’s and many “name brand” qb’s. I followed the sheet but he makes me apprehensive. Plus he plays the Steelers and Ravens twice. For me he’s bye week only–unless he surprisingly shines–or Cam Newton and Joe Burrow disappoint.

    Longtime member. Drafting tomorrow at #11, I have run simulations and do not like the results, any guidance when drafting on the back end?

      Not so much- we like the teams that start RB + Julio there on the turn. Still, in std or .5ppr we’d lean RB early- and always try to balance our roster over the course of the draft without going too far off the sheet. Our simulations have been running very well from that #11 spot. I think players this year will just have to get used to some unusual rosters in an odd year.

    Roster 2 QBs ( Brees, Josh Allen) or drop one for a handcuff type RB like Benny Snell or Malcom Brown, or even Sony Michel.

      Cancop, its always a tricky proposition in 1QB leagues. Almost impossible to trade a QB not named Mahomes or Lamar.

      IYou can hold your QBs for now, but eventually, it looks like one will be a drop. Josh Allen set up to crush in week one vs my J-E-T-S
