RosterWatch Championship-Week Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet Now Available

Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

    Now need to bring home the 2 wins.
    I need WR’s and a flex from the following
    Golladay, Chark, Edleman, Thielen, Sanders and McLaurin. My starters, Watson, Zeke, Chubb, Andrews, Broncos and Butkner.
    This will be my championship team.
    2nd team my starters, Wilson, Jaccobs, Lindsay, Hopkins, Sutton, Waller Parker as the Flex and Skins and R Gould. Would you make any changes with the following bench players D Williams, Godwin, Hyde, Slayton, A Brown and Duke Johnson. Again, thank awesome site.

    Standard team in 14 team league. Lost Godwin and need 2WRs and a flex from: Golliday, D. Parker, Landry, D. Freeman, Fuller or could also drop Pollard or L. Murray to pick up Perriman off waivers. Tough league, but I beat the 1 seed to get to the championship. Now I need to finish! Was thinking Golliday, Parker and Freeman, but Golliday and Freeman have both been letting me down.

    QB is also shaky with Darnold or Mayfield, but there is not much on the waiver wire..

    Thoughts?

    I’m in a 12 team standard and in the Championship. I own Cook and Mattison. Boone is on waivers and I don’t know who to drop out of these RB’s: Conner, Jacobs, Sanders or Washington.

      Yeah, with the vikes game being on the Monday – we are handcuffed into making sure we own all 3.
      such a shitty call on championship week.
      if I had to drop one it would be Washington
      but remember u can drop any player u aren’t starting
      fuckin cut guys like harry, ross, etc…

      but with mattison also banged up seems like a backfield doomed for split carries
      I don’t envy you
      I may start sanders conner and Jacobs ( if all healthy)

    I have Le’Veon Bell, James Conner and Raheem Mostart. Need 2. Most rankings have Bell last of the 3 but are people taking the revenge game factor into account? And the 80% snap share every game? Conner or Mostart is really tough for me…

    How worried should we be about Edelman’s new knee issue on the injury report? I know he’s been banged up all season with chest/rib things, but just wondering if i should start Sutton/AJ Brown in his place.

      remember there is no shadier team than the pats
      and theyre scrambling right now worrying for the 1st time in about 17 yrs what they should do if they don’t get a bye. my bet is he is good to go – but watch the practices if by Friday he isn’t practicing – maybe sub in suttonn or AJB ( btw it should ajb)

    Flex Q – need one RB or one WR – but note RBs get 1pt for every 10 yards and WRs get 1 point for every 25yards. – because of these quirky rules I try and start a RB in the flex spot. My choices — Bell, Hunt or Boone (I am starting Chubb and Freeman) WR – Perriman and M Brown ( I am starting Parker and robinson)
    So what do you think.? I am going against the best team in league lead by Lamar and packed with studs so I think I should go with the player who has the most upside. Perhaps Perriman. Thanks.

    10 Teamer: Perhaps the best team I’ve ever had. It would be cockamamie A.F. to somehow lose with this team, but my opponent is First in points with Lamar Jackson and McCaffrey as his every week 1-2 punch among other notables. My Team Name: La Flama Blanca”, Record 12-2. 0.5 pt ppr/ Start 2 WRs,2 RBs, 2 Flex: RBs are Leonard Fournette, Kenyan Drake, Mark Ingram, Miles Sanders, or Mike Boone if Cook and Mattison are inactive? DeAndre Washington is available at the moment but I think I’d start him over these other guys. My WRs are Michael Thomas, Tyreek Hill, Devante Parker, Devante Adams? Also have a choice between Prescott and Tannehill??

      Rankings will be updated multiple times next 48 hr. Use the rankings to choose your RB and WR. Of the top remaining guys — play the matchup and the game total for the flex spots. Those are amazing options.

      You might pick up Washington so he can’t be played against you.

      RN, probably Tannehill until we get clarity on Prescott’s health. If that wasn’t or isn’t a concern, it would likely be Dak..

Greg Ward has a also available… right now I have Marlon Mack in my Flex but have Adrian Peterson, Devin Singletary, Mike Boone and DeAndre Washington on the bench. Stick with Mack?

      I’d consider benching Mack for any / all of those guys! All are good options. AP will prob be at the top of the heap for me, possibly Boone. But, you can make strong arguments for all.

      If in doubt- when it’s this close– play the matchups, the snap counts, the touches, and we would prefer a high game total and the rb we choose to be on a team that is heavily favored.
