  1. Number 1 on the waiver wire. I have Doug Martin and frank gore, do I claim Bradshaw or kniles Davis?

  2. we like Bradshaw’s role better rest of season and Davis’ more short term. In a vacuum, we take Bradshaw.

  3. Would you drop B Sankey, C. Short, or Khiry Robinson to get Knile Davis?

    1. Ector-

YES- we would drop CShorts in an instant for Knile! GO get him!

  4. I have Lev’eon Bell, Lacy, Gore, Knile Davis, Rainey, Brown, AND Robinson! Who do I start this week in a non-PPR? I can play two RBs and one in the flex.

    1. johnnyfinger-

WOW- what a team. Oh man, we will need to see the Wednesday Matchup Tool before we know that answer. Definitely check back for that feature tomorrow, and our final rankings on Sunday. For now, Le’Veon and Knile. Good luck

  5. Would you drop F Jackson to pickup Bradshaw?

    1. bhunter-

Yes we would. It’s fairly close, but yes- Bradshaw looks fresh and he’s 28. FJax doesn’t look like he has a lot of pop in his step so far this season. Think if Bradshaw stays healthy he out-touches FJax barring a Spiller injury. Also, the Colts have the better QB and offense. Good luck.

  6. Hey guys got offered a trade of Roddy White for zac stacy. I have Charles, tate, Jennings, hill, Freeman, Cromwell and Asiata at RB. Have D Thomas, Cobb, Hunter, Jordan Matthews, Harry Douglas and Josh Gordon at WR. I’m hurting because of Charles, and tate as my three. Do you do this deal? Also picking up Allen Robinson on waivers tonight. Thanks for the help

    1. VickInABox-

Can you pick up Brian Quick? Your first option is to wait to see if AP gets suspended. If so- you can roll out Asiata and forget Stacy. Thomas, Cobb, Roddy is pretty nice if you can start 3 wr.

If not, It’s a pretty good deal if you are getting Stacy- and if you think you can consolidate some of the crazy RB depth you would have after that trade, to eventually upgrade elsewhere later in the season once Tate comes back and if AP gets suspended- or if Hill, Freeman, Crowell hit the jack pot. Good luck.

      1. Quick is gone. Lost on the bid for Robinson. Picked up Adams. But not sure if he’s worth having over Mathews. Adams was the best pick up on your Cheat sheet so I grabbed him. I will do the trade and see what I can get later on with my depth. Thanks guys.

      2. Ok with the news of Peterson, and after I traded Roddy for Stacy. Out of two rbs, Jennings, Asiata, hill, and Stacy. Who do I start. Also Mike Evans was dropped… I have half my faab budget left. Is 35% too much to pay for him?

        1. Jennings and Stacy. The Evans thing depends on your receiving corps.

  7. It looks like my league manager screwed up the waiver settings, and made everyone free agents somehow. I’ve been adding guys to my roster freely since Sunday evening.

I have Lev’eon Bell, Lacy, Gore, Knile Davis, Rainey, Brown, AND Robinson! Lamar Miller is sitting on the waiver wire. Who do I start this week in a non-PPR? I can play two RBs and one in the flex.

  8. With $88 left of FAAB, and a solid stable of RBs, what would you bid for Jeremy Hill?

    1. Personally I would bid 35+, but that’s me

    2. It depends on if i thought i was ever going to use him. No more than a tenth of my budget if not.

  9. Team really under performing – looking for best flyers to turn around with Waiver pick ups – any suggestions welcome. I feel particularly weak at WR after my two starters and my Def has been underwhelming. Some notable guys on waivers: Josh McCown, Chad Henne, EJ Manuel, Brian Hoyer, Alex Smith, Danny Woodhead, Aaron Dobson, Donnie Avery, Brian Quick, Jeremy Kerley, Doug Baldwin, Riley Cooper, Rod Streater, John Brown, Pats D, Vikings D, Redskins D, Titans D, Browns D, Jags D. I have (in what I think is performance order):

QB – Jay Cutler, Jack Locker
RB – Adrian Peterson, Arian Foster, Rashad Jennings, Bernard Pierce, Ahmad Bradshaw, Matt Asiata,
WR – Demaryius Thomas, Antonio Brown, Brandin Cooks, Hakeem Nicks, Ruben Randle
TE – Larry Donnell, Travis Kelce
    K – Phil Dawson
    D – Broncos

Any suggestions for upgrades would be a huge help.

    1. Of those guys I’d target Quick, Dobson, and Woodhead in that order. Nicks and Randle are expendable at this point.

  10. I read the waiver wire cheat sheet but now with the latest news on Adrian Peterson should I pick up Asiata or is Khiry Robinson the better pickup? standard league non ppr

    1. Gooch-
Robinson is the better talent, but Asiata could be vital for longer. I lean Asiata.

  11. Gentlemen,

Some waiver wire questions here. I have lacy, bell, crowell, freeman, hyde, fjax for rb’s. I have a bid in on donald brown and dropping freeman. we can start 2 rb and flex, also start 2 wr

WR: I have marshall, patterson, benjamin, hunter, gordon. Thinking of picking up quick or maybe davante adams.
Your thoughts on both? Much appreciated, and as always love the show on sirius.

    1. yaeger – your WR corps is so stacked that you might not ever need to start him, so in this case we’d take Adams. If it’s not a guy we are going to have to try and play week in and week out, we’ll take the luxury of taking a small flyer on the player that’s on the better offense. Hard to go wrong with either as a bench WR pickup tho – GL.-ad

  12. What’s up RW Nation! 14 team shark league dying at RB. Blind bidding tonight open cap system so I can go hard after FAs. All the big pickups were drafted in our league Krob, Davis, Don Brown, just to give you an idea. So looking for some short term help to plug in at #2RB until one of my lotto tickets pops (Crowell/Tate, Freeman, Lav Murray). I will have to cut Benny Cunningham to pickup either DMC, JStew, or this kid Damien Williams in Miami. Leaning DMC then Williams but don’t know much about him. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks!

    1. I would go dmc, stew, then williams. Miami re-signed Daniel Thomas this week, so I don’t know that Williams will get a boost.

  13. Is Asiata worth a grab in a PPR? I have Lacy, Jennings, J Bell, West, and Ridley.

    1. yes, but i wouldn’t drop any of those guys to get him.

  14. I’m a Peterson and Martin owner. Trying to work a trade offering golden Tate for asiata or Rainey. Who would you rather have moving forward?

    1. I think Rainey offers more stand alone value with Martin in the game, but Asiata will be valuable as long as AP is out. I might trade for Rainey and then try to pick up McKinnon off waivers if he’s there and you have the room.

  15. 12 team .5 pt PPR. Start 1 WR and 1 Flex for Week 3: Bush, Bradshaw, K.Rob, R.White, C.Pat
Love the site and the show on Sirius. Thanks!

    1. mike-
patterson and robinson. I like roddy, but i am nervous about a setback with his leg.

    2. Mike.Honcho-

For what it’s worth I think the Trashman is CRAZY for not saying Bush or Bradshaw here. Robinson is a nice speculative play, but we know the role the other two guys play- which is a really solid one- and they have two of the best match ups of the week. Of the bunch- I think Bradshaw is the safest- but would have no problem going Bush here either. Good luck.

      1. Mike.Honcho–

However, if you are feeling trashy- there is no better man to listen to than the Trashman

  16. I traded AP for cj2k then I heard AP was reinstated so I stupidly traded Nelson Marshall Garcon and Miller for AP Djax Vjax and Spiller. Now that AP is not playing, is this trade a disaster or is there hope left for my season.

    Thx

    1. AgentZer0-

It’s looking like a bad trade, but we would have to know who is on your bench and who your other starters are before we could tell you if this was a disaster. Your best strategy now is to be very active on the waiver wire, you need to win the waiver wire from here on out- and you can stay very competitive. You will also need to make the right matchup plays every week.

To help you with both of those initiatives- you will need to come here every Tuesday to use our waiver wire cheat sheet, and you will need to come back every week when you are setting your lineup to review our matchup tool that comes out every Wednesday. Good luck.

  17. Asked a question about picking up quick or adams for wr, but didn’t try for either. I picked up donald brown instead. But have another question with the same setup below.

I have lacy, bell, crowell, freeman, hyde, fjax for rb’s. I picked up donald brown and droped freeman. we can start 2 rb, 2wr and wr/rb flex

WR: I have marshall, patterson, benjamin, hunter, gordon. Someone in my league dropped starks and I am a lacy owner that didn’t get him. Should I go get him and if so who should I drop?

    1. yeagermeister-

We’d be looking at dropping Crowell, Hyde, FJax, or Hunter here. If you are going the handcuff route you might also just going ahead and getting Blount in PIT. In that case you lock up both of your stud running games- then you don’t have a whole lot of need for depth behind that at the RB position on your roster. Good luck.

  18. Another question more for after week 3. This week cordarelle patterson has what should be an easy defense matchup. After this and until the fantasy playoffs I have read on several other sites that he will face much touger pass defenses. That being the case can you forecast out for patterson? Is he a sell high candidate after week 3. Again my other wr’s are marshall, benjamin, hunter, and gordon, Start 2wr and can flex another.

  19. yeagermeister-

Patterson is a guy you don’t want to overanalyze. He can score against any defense from any point on the field at any time. We think the loss of Peterson hurts him more than anything- but it could also mean increased manufactured touches out of the backfield and such for him which is lethal with a player like him. We don’t really believe he is a sell high right now, either. You should hold him. Maybe, if he has a Week 3 monster you shop him just to see what you can get. If that happens and you get some offers- come back to us with this question then. He’s you second best WR right now. Kelvin not too far behind though! Good luck.

    1. Thanks Byron, you guys rock. Can’t wait for the show tonight! Hopefully I can stay off Rosterwatch.com while in my class today. I have saturday MBA classes. Last time I spent half the class on the site!

      1. yeagermeister-

Appreciate you yeager- good luck this week

  20. PPR. Went early on WRs and stacked there. Good call so far. Have Gio and R.Jennings as my starting Rbs. However, I only have Freeman and Sankey on the bench with hopes they’d get more PT. Should I get rid of these two dudes for the likes of (on the wire): Crowell, Turbin, Todman, or A.Ware (cuff). Just looking for good depth now. These fools in my league won’t trade with me at the moment. Thanks in advance.

  21. A. Williams I meant.

    1. Steve-

We would consider dropping them for Crowell and/or AWilliams. As Rashad Jennings owners we highly endorse handcuffing him. Only issue, in PPR Williams won’t be quite as valuable. Crowell we LOVE. That said, the high upside play may be to hold Sankey, and hope he becomes a starter later in the season. We’d prob drop Freeman for Crowell. Good luck

  22. I have Nick Foles and Andy Dalton as my Qb’s in a standard league. My question is….. Cam Newton is a free agent so should I pick him up, and if do which one should I drop?

  23. majorchieffan-

Yes, drop Dalton for Newton. Nice work! Good luck!
