Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

PODCAST —- YOU CAN FIND THE WAIVER WIRE PODCAST HERE IN THE PODCAST SECTION AS SOON AS IT GETS POSTED. You can also find it on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, or anywhere podcasts are found. Listen to the podcast as a supplement to the sheet as you’re setting waiver claims for additional insight, however, the pod does not give the exact order and/or tiers of the sheet so do not consider it a substitute for using the sheet.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

    Oh please wise roster watch, give me advice! I had a bunch of bad breaks, including losing one by 0.02 points, and now I’m on the outside looking in for the playoffs. 8 person league, full ppr. Specifically trying to upgrade my rb position.

    I have:
    Gordon, Ekeler, Ingram, Jaylen Samuels, and Hunt.

    I could go after Singletary, Latavius Murray, or Ronald Jones. Do I pull the trigger on any, and if so, who do I drop? Do any of those move the needle?

      Close call- prob take chances in that matchup vs ARI OJH- unless you have a look at Jonnus matchup on the tool though first- if matchup is close then prob lean to JS

    Two things, ok three.
    With Bell possibily injured, why Montgomery and not Powell? Both are available.

    Thoughts about sending Sanu, OBJ, T Coleman and getting Barkley and Amari in return? Non ppr. He may not go for it but he’s 3-6. I have Fournette and Bell, M Thomas and Godwin as starters. Do we think Bell or Coleman has a better remaining season? Cooper worth Sanu and OBJ?

    12 team .5 ppr league My record 6-3, tied for 3rd place with 3 other teams; 6 teams make playoffs.

    WR- Evans, Kupp, Lockett & DJ Chark.
    RBs- Bell, Ingram, Coleman, Henderson & Mattison
    TE- Henry, Ertz

    I was going to run with my current RB group, but now have a concern with Bell’s mysterious injury. With such an uncertain injury situation, do you prefer T Montgomery or Kalen Ballage off of WW?

          I think I would. See if they will take Hollywood though. You would be selling really low on Keenan but lets face it he has been terrible for like 5 weeks now. I tend to agree on Chubb as they already are giving Hilliard work. If Hunt gets 30-40% of the work this weekend you will only be able to dream about getting Saquan. I think its good move.

          CMC + Saquan + Jacobs = Championship

    Trade Q . – I was offered Russell Wilson for Keenan Allen. My current Qbs are Jameis anf Brissett. My WRs are Allen, Godwin, Robinson and Sutton. We start three WR .5 ppr At this point in the season it all about the playoffs — Jameis Wk 14 – 16 Inddy, Det and Hou and Brissett could be used in w 14 v TBay. While Wilson is a better QB his playoff schedule is not easy (except wk 16) — @LAR, @CAR and home v ARI
    I’m leaning to reject but it’s close. What do you think?

      I don’t think I would do it. As bad as Keenan has been that offense seems to be rounding into form. Jameis can do the job.

    Week 10 byes have hit me hard.

    Hopkins (bye)
    Chark (bye)

    We start 2rb 3wr and a flex. Right now I’m two players short.

    This week I’m dropping Jonnu for another wr to start, but who else would I drop to pick up my flex spot?

    I don’t want to drop Henderson because this is a 16 team and he’d get sniped next week. Don’t want to drop guice because he’s back soon and will slot in as my rb2/flex when he’s back.

    My only idea was drop gio for a WR and start one of my other players on bye for the flex.

    We’re doing well In this league and don’t want to give up any of our pieces that will really help us down the road potentially

    Need a little advice. I have 7 starters on bye this week and the only player left on bench is Chase Edmunds who is out. This leaves a open spot in my starting lineup. Should I sweat dropping Chase Edmunds to fill that spot off of waivers or leave the sport open? Do you see any future value in Edmunds as things stand? Not much out there on waivers, but every point counts because the standing are tight.
