*****As a reminder, we always recommend using the Cheat Sheet in conjunction with the Vegas Tool once it is published Saturday evenings as Vegas almost always identifies a few value plays who aren’t necessarily on the sheet, but may provide excellent flexibility cap-wise. Sometimes we will update the sheet through the weekend as information comes in from injury reports, Vegas or elsewhere*****

HOW DOES THE SHEET WORK?

THE GOAL of the sheet is to reduce the number of players for the weekly slate to players expected to generate Positive Surplus Value (fantasy points over salary expected points). The player pool is narrowed down to players who meet a minimum number of trends.

THE TRENDS are a series of pass/fail threshold tests of position-specific stats predictors. Through the use of predictive models, we have analyzed every predictive metric we could for each position related to Vegas Indicators, Unit Matchups, Individual Matchups, Historical Performance, Game Script, Weather, and so much more.

    Full point ppr. Trying to decide my RB2. I have Rhamondre Stevenson, Darrell Henderson, and Sony Michel. The Patriots play tonight and the Rams don’t play until Tuesday. What should I do?

      With Henderson activated I think I roll Rhamondre and lock in what should be a feature role. We don’t have any idea how the Hendo/Sony split will look after Sony has played well in his absence.

      Man this looks like a solid spot for either. I am dying to tell you go w/ Diontae, that goes against traditional logic- but I’m just feeling it in my heart in this matchup. I think this comes down to how risk averse you are. If you like to gamble- play Johnson. If you want to play if safe go w/ Mixon. I think both are very good options. You could also consider not attaching yourself to Ben Roetlhlisberger but he’s actually been decent for fantasy purposes lately as ugly as his season has been. Look yourself in the mirror and ask what kind of person you are- are you truly a gambler or are you a play it safe / traditional type of person?

    I have Van Jefferson in at WR but now OBJ is back. Am looking at Jefferson/McLaurin/AJ Dillon & Gabriel Davis. One for WR spot and of the remaining, one for flex. Concerned about McLaurin playing but could switch out with Jefferson on Tuesday. 1/2 pt ppr

      I’m playing TMC and if he doesn’t go get in Van. for the other I guess I go with AJ Dillon and hope that GB smashes BAL and that he gets mop up duty. Could easily see it happening. Gabe could have a big play, but I don’t feel great about having to play him in one of my own leagues this week

      I wanted to say Foreman, but in checking our projections, Gaskin projects best by about 1 point. It’s a really tight call but I have to lean on the projections and go with Gaskin. Hate these tough decisions, good luck with your choice and your matchup

    I’m not playing Marquise Brown if Lamar is out, so make sure that Lamar is not going (It only feels like a 10% chance he goes). If he does, put in Marquise Brown and you can still take out Osborne.
