RosterWatch Week 16 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet and Podcast Now Available

Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

PODCAST —- PRO MEMBERS CAN FIND THE WAIVER WIRE PODCAST HERE IN THE PRO PODCAST DOWNLOADS SECTION. It usually will be up by Tuesday afternoon. Listen to the PRO podcast as a supplement to the sheet as you’re setting waiver claims for additional insight.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

TE: Njoku (Available: Engram vsInd, IThomas vs.Atl, Uzomah vsCleve,
Def Houston (vs Phily) (available: Cleveland, Colts, Dallas, Miami)

I can drop SWare and GBernard? ( prefer to hang on to GBernard until I know that Mixon did not get dinged up in practice this week)

Any changes for my team for the Waiver Wire tonight?

    Thank you

    1. there’s a chance cam gets shut down so i don’t like samuels much. i could get williams, pettis or anderson instead. i’d drop ware for mcguire, williams, barber or ballage and i’d get ingram over njoku. i’d get colts or cleveland d

Just wanted to say THANK YOU for sending me to the championship in both my leagues! You guys are the best kept secret. I scored the most points in BOTH my leagues… AND in our 14 team “couples” league, I’m in 1st place and my wife got 2nd place (I control her team of course). All this thanks to RW. Now its time to bring home the gold!

    1. that’s what we love to hear mike! thanks for staying with us!

  3. Roll with Goff or start Baker. Or follow the we cheat sheet and go get Allen or Lamar?

  4. It was a good run thanks to your draft sheet, Alex, Byron, & Trashman but I got bounced in the semi’s.
    Jared Goff vs Philip Rivers.
    Fournette vs CMC
    Jordan Howard vs nick Chubb
    Keenan Allen vs Jarvis Landry
    Tyreek Hill vs Josh Reynolds
    JuJu Smith-Schuster vs Mike Williams
    Ebron vs Kittle
    Ravens vs Texans
    Aldrick Rosas vs Butker
    Final score: 79 vs 188
    Ouch.
Losing James Conner and Kerryon Johnson hurt but it would not have mattered.
We don’t have a fab budget so I was always at the end of the waiver wire each week.

It was fun, though, and you 3 are the best!!!
Remember, the Wynn buffet. It’s the best, too!!!

I hope any of you hit the finals and if so, good luck!

    Best Wishes,

    Dr.MikeE

    1. it was a bizarre semi-final to say the least mike. i always say it takes skill to get to the playoffs and everything after that is luck. thanks for the luck and you support! hope to see you back next season!

  5. Thanks for helping me get to the championship game. Your cheat sheet gave me one of my best drafts ever. 11-3 most points.
    Current lineup is
    QB Rivers
    RB’s Barkley, Gordon
    WR’s Thielen, Hilton
    TE Njoku
    Flex D. Cook
    K J. Tucker
    D Chicago
    Bench is J.Gordon, J.Edelman, J.Adams, S.Michel, J Jackson.

Only real decision is whether to start Edelman or Gordon ahead of Hilton.
What do you guys think. Edelman has a decent game against buffalo a few weeks ago.
    .5 ppr league

    1. i’d hold on hilton

In the finals thanks to you maniacal motherfuckers…my RBs are Gurley and Fournette. I have Ballage and Jamaal Williams as well…thinking about FLEXing Williams, but should I bench Fournette for Ballage? I’m concerned with the possibility they’ll limit Fournette’s usage, especially since they benched him most of the second half last week. What do you think?

    1. That’s going to be a very close call. Please wait for a big rankings update tomorrow afternoon as we get more info. I think you’re right- I may lean towards Ballage in a pinch to avoid a swindle. Gurley + LF, lord have mercy!

Thanks, Byron. You guys are the best.

  10. You guys are awesome and I want to thank you for all you guys do!! I missed out of the championship game in my one money league because Lindsey, Theilan, JuJu all shit the bed. I had the one seed and highest scoring team in the league though so in my eyes I have the best team….just probably gonna settle for 3rd. I averaged 160 pts a week and could only muster 128 in the semis and lost by 20…it’s tough but that’s fantasy football!!! You guys were a big part of why my team was as solid as it was and I thank you. Looking forward to the off-season content!!

    1. Thank you for your loyal support Kevin. Glad you had a great season, sounds like you had a monster squad and represented the RosterWatch Nation very well. Happy Holidays!

  11. My current D/ST is Seattle (vs KC) so I need to pick up a D on the wire for championship w/e. How do you rank these 3: LAC vs Balt, Clev vs Cinn, or Dal vs TB. My opponent has LAR but he has waiver priority and wouldn’t be surprised he grabs a D knowing I’ll b looking for one. Thanks

    1. Probably Chargers and Cowboys, two good options – I’d rule out CLE.

  12. Post By Brianobarad@gmail.com

I’m freaking out, lol. Where are all the rankings?

    1. They’re up- BIG update coming tomorrow around lunch
