Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Whether you play in a standard waiver claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

      Reasonable deal- think you’re overpaying a tiny bit. It’s not a necessary move at all for you. It does balance your roster a bit. Wouldmake your WR a bit stronger through the BYEs. This is not a clear cut call.

    10 team PPR. Was just offered Gurley for Edelman and Snead. I have nothing at RB. I’d have Hopkins, Robinson, Cooper, Sharpe, Enunwa remaining at WR. Only have Ware, Riddick, Dixon, and Henry at RB. I think I have to jump at this.

    I need RB help. My only two worth a dam are Ingram and L Murray. I Have The whole Miami Rb situation (what a waste)! $3Ajayi, $1 Drake, and $21Foster. Also have $7 C. West. It’s a dynasty keeper, who would you drop for Smallwood? Also- I have $1 free and i think Smallwood will cost any where from $3-$11 thanks!!!!!!

    Is AP droppable? I have 2 IR spots, but “Out” counts for IR. I have AP and K Dixon in there now, but also have Rawls and Coleman too, so I am strapped right now.

    Also, I am putting a claim for Howard and dropping agholor. If that doesn’t work, I will take crowder for agholor.

    I believe in Crowder, but with the IR spots holding me down, I don’t know who to drop. Anyone worth dropping for him out of this list? Doctson, Dwayne Washington, Austin , C Coleman, Lockett?

    Couple questions I’m torn about. I’m now 0-3 and I’m in some pain. Should I drop D Henry to bid on Jordan Howard? I could also drop Rawls… have Michael. Second question, I drafted Ertz early and picked up Thomas late so been riding him. Normally I don’t like two TE but I didn’t quite trust ertz. Problem is Thomas has bye next week. I would go after a wr like Steve smith for depth. My top two wr’s were Allen and Watkins so getting thin. Others are Fuller, Maclin, Terrance Williams and Kevin White (plus Sammy who is obviously not 100%). Thanks guys!! Just trying to weather the storm.

    I posted earlier a bit but I have a more specific question. DeVante Parker, Jordan Howard, Cole Beasley, Jamison Crowder, & Quincy Enunwa are still on the board and I only have 4 bench spots. 0.5 PPR. Here’s my team

    RB – David Johnson
    RB – Lamar Miller
    WR – DeAndre Hopkins
    WR – Amari Cooper
    RB/WR – Eric Decker
    FLEX – Sterling Shepard
    Bench – Ryan Matthews, Derrick Henry, Josh Gordon, Tevin Coleman

    Can I/should I drop any of these guys tonight to try to pick up any of that talent?

      If comfortably is the word your using (we like that) – it’s got to be Enunwa. Others could be dropped if necessary, but we wouldn’t feel “comfortable” about it.

      We’d prob opt for door #2. Like Walker better than Pitta- and Hurns is fine to ditch for Fleener if you need TE help. Fleener would have to be our priority of the two. Don’t hate getting both.

      My 2 cents: I would jump on Cooks. Edelman had the foot issues and Cooks is more of a difference maker regardless. NO’s playoff schedule looks pretty good for their WR: @TB, @ARI, TB

      in smaller leagues like 10 teamers, i like to acquire 1 elite player instead of getting 2 or more good players. i would try pairing two of my good players to try and get an elite back if i were you.

    Rock and a hard place this week – I have Lacy and R. Matthews on bye and only D Murray and Arian Foster left (he’s Out). With very small teams and these guys on bench: Eifert, J. Gordon, S. Watkins (all whom I don’t want to drop) – Do I release R. Matthews for Matt Jones so I can go for the win this week instead of being out a RB?

    Do R. Matthews and Matt Jones look fairly even for the remainder of the season? I’d rather try to win and be up 3-1 in my league than 2-2. Thoughts?
