Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

PODCAST —- YOU CAN FIND THE WAIVER WIRE PODCAST HERE IN THE PODCAST SECTION AS SOON AS IT GETS POSTED. You can also find it on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, or anywhere podcasts are found. Listen to the podcast as a supplement to the sheet as you’re setting waiver claims for additional insight, however, the pod does not give the exact order and/or tiers of the sheet so do not consider it a substitute for using the sheet.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

    Interesting to see Dalton at the top and no Winston. Is this because you assume Winston is owned? I have Mayfield and Dalton, lost this week because of Dalton. Was gonna drop him for Winston. Should I not do that? Also should I ignore team needs for top priorities? Crowder is still out there and hes easily the best add. Would you go that route instead of a qb? Only a 1 qb league so I’m sure I could trade for one.

          I think you prioritize getting your lineup optimized to win every week. I personally don’t buy Mayfield, but don’t let my avatar fool you :). I’d much prefer Winston to either Mayfield or Dalton.

      If you need two guys – that’s a fine deal—- KG may be as good as JuJu rest of way — Howard will be a tough guy to pick the week to play him. Would be a nice flex in a deep competitive league. If he’s going to my bench it’s a much closer call. Depends on quality of your roster.

    Two weeks ago, an owner dropped Zach Ertz to waivers. I grabbed him using all of my $200 FAAB. Last week, the same owner dropped Mark Ingram and Deshaun Watson to waivers. They went unclaimed so I got them for free. Now this same owner dropped Kerryon Johnson to waivers today due to the bye week. Should I grab him if he goes unclaimed after waivers run? If so, who should I drop? Would you also consider picking up Ronald Jones or Jaylen Samuels or stay put with what I have?

    This league is a joke. Unfortunately, it is with coworkers. That is the only reason I am in it.
