Attention RosterWatch Nation – with the season-ending Week 5 injury to Jamaal Charles, this is a critical round of waiver wire pickups. Big lots of FA dollars will be spent, and some season-changing pickups very well may be had on waivers this week. Contrarily, this is a week where some players may blow their free agent budgets on the wrong players while putting themselves at a disadvantage that rest of the season.

Be aware of your situation, spend your free-agent budget wisely; and have an eye on what your league mates are likely to do when setting waiver claims tonight. There is a lot of value to be had from this week’s second tier of priority free agents.

    Hey RW!

    Could really use some advice here in my biggest money league regarding who I should cut bait with and potentially try to add this week. I have the 9th waiver priority so I doubt I’ll get the top waiver wire cheatsheet guys but I might be able to snag Diggs by dropping Agholor or Aiken. I’ll also try to replace Rodgers with Barnidge (who I dropped last minute for Rodgers on Sunday). Is it time to drop Spiller or Abdullah? Or even Reed? What trade value do my RBs have? Sorry for all the questions but you guys are my go-to for advice!

      spiller or williams for west. spiller for any of those guys except for sankey. trade value is always relative. martin is your priciest piece though.

        Okay so claims are in for adding West dropping Spiller, adding Barnidge dropping Rodgers, and adding Diggs dropping Agholor so now the question is which order should I go after one of Jennings, Ryan Mathews, K. Davis, Vereen, Andrews, Bell, or Riddick since I know I won’t get West with my second to last waiver priority… I ask because Spiller is ranked higher than all those guys on the first draft of rankings so far?

        Should I try trading away Ellington straight up for maybe CJ Anderson? The other team has Foster, Miller David Johnson, Hillman and CJ…

        I sent an offer of Karlos WIlliams and Ellington for Yeldon to the Charles owner hoping he’ll bite in the meantime..

      -If we weren’t planning on playing Aiken this week (Smith may be back)- then yes DEF drop for Diggs

      -Spiller and Abdullah are on the fringe- we like Abdullah best of those two and prob would not drop him yet- but if there is someone you are dying to pickup – it’s a fair consideration esp for Spiller

      -Not sure exactly how many RBs you can start- but we would stay put if we were you- only thing we might consider is offering two of your RBs (Ingram +, or Martin +) for an elite RB

      -Barnidge should be owned

    We roster a maximum of 2QBs, 4RBs, 4WRs, 2TEs, 2Ks, 2DEFs, with 1 IR spot on the bench.
    We start 1QB, 2RBs, 2WRs, 1 FLEX(RB/WR/TE), 1TE, 1K, and 1DEF.

    Current Roster: QBs: P Rivers, S Bradford, RBs: L Bell, D Freeman, J Forsett, S Vereen, WRs: AJ Green, B Marshall, S Smith Sr, A Hurns, D Adams, TEs: R Rogers, K Rudolph

    I am sitting at 5-0 with the most points scored in our league thanks to you guys. I was able to pick up Allen Hurns off waivers prior to last week due to Steve Smith Sr being in my IR spot. However, I can only keep 4 of the 5 WRs going forward once Smith and Adams are healthy. Would you drop Davante Adams at that point? Do you think I need to look to change anything else?

      if i had to drop a wr it would be adams. i would maybe look to improve your te situation. you might be able to get a decent te for adams.

      Welcome to the site. Your team can be improved across the board, excluding QB. Your goal should be finding teams in your league with losing records and seeing if you can offer them a 2 for 1 for any of their elite talents at the RB, WR, or TE position. You have a lot of good talent but likely cannot start it all. You need to consolidate the depth into a better starting lineup- we can then replenish your depth on the waiver wire. You are currently going to need to be considering streaming TE every single week.

      West is the 1st priority- but Davis is the sneaky option- esp if you can get him cheaper in FA budget bidding

    I was just offered Gronk for Julio Jones straight up in a 1 point ppr. I have Odell Beckham and Brandin Cooks also (I know, it’s a ten man league I got lucky). Ertz is my tight end. Should I pull the trigger on this trade?

      i wouldn’t do it. I think Julio could be fantasy’s top scorer at a non qb position. I’d rather have Jones and a TE, there are probably several options in a ten teamer, than Gronk and whatever WR you can find to try to replace him. Gronk is heavily TD dependent.

    We have to roster 2TEs (start one and one on the bench).
    Current TEs: R Rogers, K Rudolph
    TEs from cheat sheet available on waiver wire: A Seferian-Jenkins, D Carrier, J Tamme, C Gillmore
    Would you drop either Rogers or Rudolph for any of the TEs listed above available on waivers?
    I know Tamme might be a TE to possibly stream this week. However, I don’t know if any of the TEs available out on waivers would be better than what I have for the rest of the season.

      I think ASJ and Gillmore could possibly be better than both over the season, but neither are good bets this week.

    Hey guys, I have AP, Yeldon, Hill, Duke Johnson, AJ Green, Cooks, Allen Robinson, John Brown, and Agholor. I just picked up Christine Michael, and put in a claim for Rawls, who was just dropped, for Agholor. Would you drop anyone to pick up Charles Sims or Crowder? Thanks!

    Should I Add Buck Allen in 14 team PPR? I have Forsett, Vereen, Knile Davis, J-Stew, Duke Johnson, Gurley, & Hillman. I was thinking to drop LaFell. My only wrs are ODB, Marshall, Crowder, and Moncrief. With Gronk at TE. FAAB runs tonight.

    Jeremy Hill or J. Forsett for the rest of the year?

    I’ve been offered Forsett & Romo for Hill & Roethlisberger. Do you think Forsett is an upgrade at RB, I was going to counter asking for Kelcie for D. Walker.

    So it would be Forsett, Kelcie & Romo for Hill, Walker & Roethlisberger.

    I also have Palmer as my other QB and he has Eifert as his other TE.

      Yes- Romo is worthless to you- if you’re giving up Big Ben who is an elite QB option- it’s fine if Romo is a tiny tiny throw in – but you should also be getting an upgrade elsewhere on your starting roster. Yes, if you can get Kelce- it’s a deal we would def do

      Interesting question- two of the rookies we’ve loved the most for months- prob the reason you own them both 🙂

      If you own Shady- yes for sure. If not, it’s a bit of a toss up- but BUF situation is less murky than ARZ- so we might assign Karlos a little bit more value on the rest of season. Close, close call- don’t see a lot of purpose to the trade- but yes we’d prob do that

    I was wondering if there were any clear buy lows in your guys’ opinion? The question is a little open ended but was just curious if there are any guys who really stand out to you off the top of your heads? Always looking to improve my team and I’ve been having success following your advice!
