RosterWatch Week 6 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet and Podcast Now Available

Building a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

    Who do I drop ? I plan to go in for walker tonight and not sure who to drop (starting RBs – cook & gordon). Drop candidates — jamaal williams, damien harris , devin singletary other choices WR reserves – Doubs and Aiyuk.

    Another Question — I want to pick up a Def this week. I have the Eagles and don’t want to drop them (week 7 bye) as they have a good playoff schedule. Would you do this? and who would be the second drop. ? Or should I wait and decide next week since someone is likely to get injured LOL.

      I’d drop Doubs or Aiyuk (look at their targets, snap %, and consider the QBs, competition for targets,
      and experience in the league)

      Hoarding defenses for the playoffs this early in the season is tough unless you have super deep benches. Your league mates prob aren’t thinking of that yet. I’d say keep PHI if you like them and just play them every week and live w/ the results which appear they will be solid on average in the end when said and done. If you like trying to optimize every wk (which I don’t disagree with) it comes w/ additional headaches- but if you go that route I’d prob drop the other WR you didn’t drop for Walker

    Full PPR, im currently 4 and 1 and was offered the following trade.
    My A Cooper, Hollywood and Hockenson for Diggs, Burkhead adn Irv Smith.
    My team L Jackson, Conner, B Hall, Kupp, Lamb, Ertz, D Moore, Lockett, Mckissic, K Herbert Doubs.
    I understand that Burkhead and Smith i probably would immediately drop.. But i think it would be a major win for me.
    Thoughts.
    – Also do you guys think K Herbert is now droppable..

    I’m looking to spend about 33% to try and get Walker. Etienne is also available, how much, if any, % would you put in for him to back up the Walker bid? And how far down the sheet would you target a RB pickup (dropping Herbert)? I think I am safe to drop Herbert with my depth. Thank you

      You are correct Herbert can be dropped. For Walker you can kick that up a bit to make sure you get him. 50%+ but you know your league spending habits

      Hayden Hurst is running got right now. Try to get him. I would not like to drop any of those guys but in a dynasty league you might have to drop Mostert. If it was redraft I’d say drop Brian Robinson.

    TE: Pitts, TyConklin (picked up because Pitts was out)

    Some of the team coaches in my league do not make good choices so chance of me being 1 of the 8 teams in play-offs in at least 95%

    QB QUESTION:
    Drop Wilson (Keep DakPrescott) and pick up GenoWilson KPickett ZachWilson Fields MMariotta or Carr (in that order)?
    Or Drop both Dak and Wilson and pick one of the above and have extra space on bench to pick up RB/WR waiver – see below)?
    Bonus: DWatson available, pick him up and hold him instead of holding Dak?

    TE QUESTION:
    I still wish to roll with Pitts given lack of other Talent out there so I am not sure I should drop him
    – Do I drop TConklin If I can get THill HHurst or E Engram for this week (assuming Pitts will be out)?
    – or just drop CTConklin to pick up good RB/WR candidates on waiver (see below) and if Pitts does not play, stream again and pick later this weekend?

      QB: We agree Geno is a better option over Russ right now, not time to pickup Watson yet.

      TE: You can drop Conklin, Hurst is a good option, or Taysom Hill. We prefer Hill bc you don’t want other teams to pick him up Hold onto Pitts obviously.

      R. White should be a priority add.

    Guys I’m in a tough spot.
    I’m 1-4 and this is what my bench looks like.

    J Conner
    E Mitchel.
    I’m good for this week but week 7 Byes are coming up and I need to drop one of these guys to pick up a WR ( AJ Brown and Cupp on Bye)
    What do i do? I was thinking g of dropping Jeff Wilson late in week 7 since Eli is back week 9 but with all injuries I gotta start him.
    Do I drop one or just punt the kicker position for the week and see how it goes?

      Zach Wilson and Even Justin Fields are intriguing upsides plays this week. The other 3 also have rushing upside. Russ Wilson is an easy drop right now. His throwing shoulder is injured as well

    I am In a 1 point ppr with 2 wr, 3 RBs, and 3 flex spots and 5-0 but not scoring well, just getting lucky. I only have adams at wr but I have all the rookie RBs walker, pierce, hall, ceh, and mixon. I was offered chase for mixon and drake london. Is this a good trade for me. I think it is more due to me having burrow as well.

    .5 PPR, I’m 3-2, have Kenneth Walker to now replace Javante, and CMC as my two RBs. WRs are AJ Brown, Metcalf, Olave, Bateman, Pickens. Guy who has Derrick Henry is 0-5 and is so thin at WR had to blow 30% of his FAAB adding Jakobi Myers. I’m wanting to solidify at RB and offering him Metcalf, Michael Carter, and Mike Boone. Fair/favorable offer on my part or should I cancel the offer?
