Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

PODCAST —- YOU CAN FIND THE WAIVER WIRE PODCAST HERE IN THE PODCAST SECTION AS SOON AS IT GETS POSTED. You can also find it on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, or anywhere podcasts are found. Listen to the podcast as a supplement to the sheet as you’re setting waiver claims for additional insight, however, the pod does not give the exact order and/or tiers of the sheet so do not consider it a substitute for using the sheet.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

    Iam in a 12 team ppr league there isn’t one usable Rb on the waiver wire all are taken and stashed. Someone dropped jay ajayi we have $500 in fab I haven’t spent any how much should I throw in to get Ajayi and stash him I’m sure others will be going for him?

      Tough call- Williams should be owned. Best case you should trade two of your WR or one of your WR + Herndon for one good player in return and clear a roster spot so you can make the add. If I had to drop Herndon I’d consider it

      Love the idea— Wilson is a little rich– but if your wire is that good– it’s a move you just may have to make. Generally speaking this is a good trade. Bell has some big days ahead. I’d most likely do it if I were you.

    I am in 12 team std league season goes to wk 17. I drafted according to the cheat sheet. However, NFL is what it is and I am 1-4. The worst I have ever been in the 15yrs I have been playing fantasy, but I never give up. This league I’m in we have a 8 man bench, people dont trade, will stash 4 qbs, 3 TE, 3 Def, have a bench full of RBs. Another note I have seen them collab and drop players and have there boy pick them up and they do that thougout the season. I thought in theory this wont last they will have to drop someone and they dont. I’m just stuck, literally dont know what to do. I’m in dire need of reciever and my best option is Preston’s William’s and Pettis…I dunno gents. Thoughts?

    Looking for second thoughts on a trade….my core line up is Dalvin, Mike Thomas, Chris Carson, and Aaron Jones. It’s PPR and I’m 5-0.

    My QBs are Jimmy G and Brissett (don’t ask) and I’m working with a guy that has both Russ and Watson. I prefer Russ by a pinch, but either would be an obvious upgrade. The other part of me thinks I’m in the position of strength and it sucks to be the guy with two top-5 QBs and having to bench one.

    I have bye week coverage for my RBs and WRs in the form of ARob and Alshon (they can all be flexed) as well as Mattison and Penny as handcuffs.

    The trade is shaking out to be Wilson and Will Fuller for my Aaron Jones and Robinson. I’d rather give up Royce Freeman or Alshon but I’m not sure he’ll accept and haven’t countered yet. Any thoughts would be appreciated…thanks.

      Yeah that’s what I was thinking. Would you consider pushing for something with the other guys, i.e. Robinson/Jeffrey/Freeman (he has Lindsey)?

      His position players aren’t great: CMC, Lindsey, Duke, Cohen, Singletary, Fuller, TY, Metcalf, Parker, Corey Davis.

      If I had 2 stud QBs I would think adding ARob or Jeffrey would be an upgrade…agree?
