RosterWatch Week 6 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet Now Available

Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

PODCAST —- PRO MEMBERS CAN FIND THE WAIVER WIRE PODCAST HERE IN THE PODCAST SECTION AS SOON AS IT GETS POSTED (usually around 4:00pm central on Tuesdays in-season. You can also find it on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, or anywhere podcasts are found. You can also simply watch it below on YouTube. Listen to the podcast as a supplement to the sheet as you’re setting waiver claims for additional insight, the pod does not give the exact order and/or tiers of the sheet so do not consider it a substitute for using the sheet.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

      I would drop him for Mattison if you think playing Mattison this wk in great matchup will help you win. Otherwise, I think your WR are strong and it might be worth keeping LF as a stash w/ upside. You might need it at some point. Kelley is another guy to consider dropping for Mattison, Ruggs, Claypool, Aiyuk (not sure on Edmonds- close call) – but I see you may be keeping him as a hedge as an Ekeler owner- which I don’t hate b/c I’m not sure you will ever start these other guys

      Hell yeah you should take it!I like the Dobbins stash but the handcuff might be really smart- your call If you have Jones, Mostert, Robinson, Gibson, you may never need Dobbins – and he would need two guys to get injured Gus and Ingram.       Close call- look at the upcoming schedules and keep collecting wins. I know Gurley still has a solid schedule for a few weeks – this is a bit of a marginal move, but giving up Hardman isn’t a ton so it’s close to fair- just not sure how much it improves your situation. Don’t just trade to trade- although I do probably like Carson a little better big picture- I might see what else is out there in your league

    Hey guys, 10 team PPR/PPC league. I’m 3-2 and need help at RB. I have Mixon, Monty, DJ, Fournette, Harris, Kelly and Dobbins Should I drop Dobbins for Edmonds or Gaskins? Also, at WR i Have DHop, Ridley, Noore, Chark, and Boyd. Drop Kelly and pick up a WR. Claypool, Cooks, M Williams, Gallup, Manny Sanders, Ruggs and Hilton are out there. Thanks for the help.

      Jesus,I wish my waiver wires looked like that. Drop Dobbins for Gaskin or Edmonds for sure. Drop Kelley for Edmonds,Claypool,or Ruggs.

      Never can have too many RBs and your WR depth is good so I’d prioritize those RBs first. Gaskin is a starter with volume and Edmonds could be on the verge of taking Drake’s job.

    Talk me off the ledge here, but I’m fearful of Mixon’s upcoming schedule, and at 0-5, gotta try and make something positive happen.

    I’m targeting David Johnson who has a much more favorable short-term schedule (and I need to win this week). So I’m thinking of packaging Mixon with a:

    – Deebo Samuel
    – Laviska Shenault
    – Maybe a DJ Moore (that would be a little too rich for me, I think)

    In a vacuum, I don’t know that I’d push this move, but I need a win this week.

      There has been chatter from Houston coaches that they need to get Duke more involved. As we have seen it is a dangerous game to try to count on the schedule staying as is. What looks like a good schedule today can be a poor one tomorrow. I like Mixon, bad schedule and all over DJ. Good luck!

      First priority should be FAAB for Dalton. If that can’t get done, I would not trade for Jimmy G. I do not think it is a lock he starts any given week.

      Another sneaky waiver strategy is pick up some of the QB backups where the starter is on the ropes (for free)
