By now, most of you know how feel about touchdown dependency. It’s not an absolute, but it’s a nice indicator of future production. Generally, when comparing players of similar ilk, we prefer the guy who is less touchdown dependent.

A great example of this is shown in the chart below- Ronnie Hillman is a non-touchdown dependent 5-6 point guy. Mike Tolbert and Kendall Hunter are heavily touchdown dependent 5-6 point producers. In any give week, we prefer Hillman to meet expectations.
