RosterWatch Week 7 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet Now Available

Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

PODCAST —- YOU CAN FIND THE WAIVER WIRE PODCAST HERE IN THE PODCAST SECTION AS SOON AS IT GETS POSTED. You can also find it on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, or anywhere podcasts are found. Listen to the podcast as a supplement to the sheet as you’re setting waiver claims for additional insight, however, the pod does not give the exact order and/or tiers of the sheet so do not consider it a substitute for using the sheet.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

    Is matt deutsch telling you guys not to do some of the things that set you apart from the pack? Tell that guy he’s fucking wrong! You two would hilariously bash the trashman now you’re never all there at once. I’m calling in next week to voice my complaints. Even tho the trashman is a dope we need to hear the garbage grab. Robot genius is gone too. You guys help win me a lot of cash in DFS but how many lineups do you need to air… we have the sheet and the tool already. Haha.       Thanks for always supporting Frank Grimes. Overtime the RW program on SXM has become the all business edition most of the time. Unfortunately, it’s tough for all three of us to make a broadcast these days. Maybe, we’ll do a special every once in a while.

      If still a tie– – default to talent, recent production, and upside shown on the season. Hard not to have an eye for SF rn–but matchups are of utmost importance

      Just my opinion, but a lot. Maybe almost all of it.

      I also have both Henry and Andrews (I added Henry on Saturday AM), but played Andrews on Sunday. I’m currently trying to trade Andrews.

      The point is, if you intend on getting Henry, and you intend on trading either Andrews or Henry, you’re expecting to get a significant piece in return that would exceed the value of your FAAB bid that you put in to get Henry in the first place. So think about “how much FAAB” it would take to get the return in your trade. It’s probably more than you would need to put in to get Henry.

      Someone else needs a TE in your league. For sure.

    Trade question. I have Hopkins, Keenan, Godwin and Tyreek at WR. My RBs are Mack and Montgomery. Would love to target a RB1 type to balance out my team, but which WR am I going to have the least regrets trading? It’s a keeper league where we keep 2 players each year, fwiw, which makes me least inclined to trade Nuk from that group.

    QB question — I have Brissett after dropping Mayfield in this 10team league. Most teams carry 2 + QBs – Josh Allen =, Jimmy G, Darnold are available along with Mayfield and the usual suspects. Should I stick with Brissett and go pick up Mayfiled. Or would suggest rolling with Allen or some other.

    I am a Fournette owner. Is it smarter to roster Ryquel Armstead or should I take a chance on Alexander Mattison. Mattison looks like a stallion out there and I would love to have him if anything happens to Cook, but locking up Jacksonville is extremely tempting even tho Armstead doesn’t look nearly as talented.

      Armstead—- love that you call AM a “Stallion”– -that’s my guy. RA is good too, and I’ve been happy with how he has looked. I think you get 1/2 to maybe 2/3 of LF out of RA if LF were to go down — mainly because I think it devolves to more of a time share— but that would still be a solid flex

    My team is turning the corner except for an awful tight end situation. I drafted Henry but due to multiple injuries on my team including Tyreek Hill who took my IR spot I had to drop him. Probably a dumb idea in retrospect. I have Eifert now and he gets me 3-5 Pts in PPR. Do I drop him for one of the waiver wire targets? I also have James Washington WR on my IR and I have to drop him to make any moves.

    Big props to you guys as I already have Mattison and Hardman on my team.

      I had to drop Henry in a league,but I was able to pick up Mark Andrews so even though Henry will be picked up by someone else,I’m fine with Andrews. Dump Eifert. The Bengals are poison.

    Browsing the WW cheat sheet and boom, AB pops out at me. In a pretty interesting spot as well. What is your vibe on him? 8 man thin bench so I can throw Chris Thompson or Malcolm Brown to the wolves and grab AB if you think it’s worth it. I’m willing to be patient if you all think there is a shot he eventually comes back this year.
