Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

PODCAST —- PRO MEMBERS CAN FIND THE WAIVER WIRE PODCAST HERE IN THE PRO PODCAST DOWNLOADS SECTION. It usually will be up by Tuesday afternoon. Listen to the PRO podcast as a supplement to the sheet as you’re setting waiver claims for additional insight.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

    What makes Anthony Miller more valuable than D.J. Moore? I drafted Miller and Hogan but have replaced them with every revolving door, piece of crap, “Must add,” over the last 8 weeks. Just looking for one that will stick.

      Actually same question. I have DJ Moore and after seeing what transpired last weekend its hard to say I would drop him for any other WR besides Sutton.

      Also, is Ty Montgomery worth a flier? Or is he too much up Trashmans ally? More of a dumpster dive?

      They don’t all stick. It’s why the waiver wire is a weekly revolving door you recycle your roster through. Those guys are back 2 back on the sheet so you are splitting hairs. Take the one you like. Miller in a better sport while ARob is out.

    Why is Jarvis Allen so low and Williams so high? Trying to choose one as a fill in for this week.

    (1) Should Ebron owners be looking for a replacement, with Doyle exploding back on the scene?
    (2) How patient/worried should Martavis owners be, after this past Sunday?

    I’m preparing for Deandre Hopkins and Stefon Diggs’ by week in week 10 and can’t afford to have both on bye. I have 2 trade offers on the table. Hopkins, Dion Lewis, and James Connor for Melvin Gordon, JuJu Smith-Shuster and Keke Coutee. And the other trade would be Stefon Diggs and Adrian Peterson for Kareem Hunt. Do you like either of these trades?

    I have too many players on my team to play waivers. Do I need to keep my RB handcuffs of Gallman, Bernard, and Smith? Should I pick up Courtland Sutton even though I already own Emmanuel Sanders?

      Might keep Gio but would def drop Gallman and Rod Smith

      Kind of weird picking up Sutton if you have Sanders- so if it requires a free agent bid I’d say no. If it’s just a waiver claim, I’d consider passing for somebody else really high on the sheet. Otherwise, yes he’s a huge pick up and should be acquired a trade bait or waiver wire defense vs your league mates

    Guys,

    The DK DFS Lineup Generator is KILLING ME! I play almost exclusively DK 50/50s or Double ups for anywhere from $20-$50/contest. Over the past 3 weeks I am 0-14 using only the lineup generator and not deviating at all. Is the generator meant for a specific type of contest?

      Big recommendation is to look at the DKs Cheat Sheet + Vegas Props Tool, and do some prep work getting an idea what 2-4 base lineups you want for the week, and what the key player / game correlations are in those base lineups.

      Then, lock those players in on Hyper before running it. And, run it until you see some lineups based around those core plays close to max budget that in their entirety fit the general story / narrative you want have in mind for the base lineups you have worked up earlier in the process.

      With a little bit extra work you should see some returns

    Standard scoring and need a good RB for near-term. Is my thinking right to drop Chris Thompson and pick up either J Richard, D Martin or J Williams? My current RBs are Fournette, K Johnson, A Collins, Hyde and C Thompson.

    Someone dropped Fitzgerald. Also, Sutton, Kirk and Coutee are available. Are any of them an upgrade in the near-term for my Goodwin, Baldwin or Ridley? Thanks!

      I’d counter w/ Kupp throw in Collins if you have to. Keenan is a bit rich for Cohen. At very least you should be getting something else decent back on top of Allen. Cohen is a huge sell high right now

Don’t know what to expect from any of these three because of the situation they are in, injury or new team chemistry.     Gents,

    The Fox River Trouser Trout, with the guidance of the RW team have built a 6-2 record.

    Three weeks ago I took a risk dropping B.Watson and a second Def and picked up O.J. Howard and Austin Hooper.

    Was just offered by a 5-3 team with all his TE on bye either
    Jack Doyle or Evan Engram for Austin Hooper.

    Hooper is inconsistent but gaining trust with M.Ryan this year.

    Doyle is fighting Ebron and Hilton for targets but Trashman did say the WR there are shallow.

    Engram on the other hand has a qb whose o-line has allowed him to be rag dolled the last two years and he is afraid to step up in the pocket… and would be fighting Beckham, Barkley and Sheppard for touches.

    Do I stay put and roll with the two gents I have?

      Tough call. I had been playing Hooper in a pinch this season in an experts league. Engram became available during his injury, I scooped him up. But, kept Hooper. Now I am honestly unsure which one is the better play, and am keeping both.

      I might make the deal for Doyle, the the Ebron thing- but I think he’s got a little more weekly upside than Hooper- and a much better QB than Engram.

      Think you have it right. In PPR, all are great options. Double check the rankings over the course of the wk.

      That all sounds fine, obv if Tyreek is slowed by the groin you have a great option in KA as a back up. Be ready for KA to deliver down the stretch here. We’d be shocked if he doesn’t breakout somewhere a long the line here and hit his usual numbers.

    First year in a dynasty league, it is a .5 PPR. We can start 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 2 Flex, 1TE. Pretty much done for this year, but looking to build for the future. I’m looking at two different trades to make. The first I would give up Phillip Lindsey and Tyler Boyd and get Hunt and Fuller (I have Watson as one of my QBs). The second trade is to try to get Keenan Allen, I am thinking of giving up Funchess and Alex Collins (Also have Kupp, Cooper, D Thomas, Allen Robinson, Mark Ingram, Chris Thompson, Derrick Henry, R Freeman available to trade as well). What do you think of those trades? Anyone else I should combine to try to get Allen?

    In quite a pickle this week. I’m in a 12 team league with extremely high scoring (a great week is 400-500 points). I’m currently second to last by a lot and down thousands of dollars in sidebets. I need some help. You get SIGNIFICANTLY more points for longer TDs. Here is the basic scoring you need to know:

    Receptions = 2 pts
    1-20 yd TD = 15 pts
    21-40 yd TD = 30 pts
    41-60 yd TD = 45 pts
    61-80 yd TD = 60 pts
    81+ yd TD = 75 pts

    You get 5 points for every 20 combined rushing/receiving yards, starting at 50 yards (you get 0 pts for yardage if your player doesn’t get 50 total yards).

    Having said that, this is where I need help: I have to fill ONE (1) RB slots, TWO (2) WR slots, and ONE (1) Flex spot with the following players:

    Cooper, C. Davis, Crowell, L. Miller, Goodwin, Golladay.

    Please provide some input and reasoning! Thank you!
