I have a dynasty question. We can play two RBs and two flex in a ,5 ppr non super flex league. I currently have Barkley, Taylor, jacobs, dobbins, Micheal carter, and Gus bus as my RBs. My wr are stacked. Jj, aj, and waddle to name a few. Would it be smart to trade Barkley now for a 2026 first and 2nd?
I would not do that deal for 2026 picks. The guy who is trading those away and doesn’t have any viable 2024 or 2025 picks available (I would assume) will probably end up ditching his team before 2026 even comes around anyway 😉 — I generally don’t like to make trades for picks more than one year out for a wide variety of reasons,.
Does the fact that this league is over 20 years old make a difference? We rarely lose teams and have a waiting list to take over a team.
It’s makes a difference, but this trade is too far out. I would consolidate in other ways besides extra 2026 picks. I look at dynasty in 3 year windows MAX, so fundamentally, I really don’t really know how to value a 2026 pick. I just ran it on two Trade Analyzers just to make sure I wasn’t having a blind spot to it and it has you losing this deal pretty badly on both. I wouldn’t do it.
