PRO RW Vegas Tool: Week 5 DFS Flex Values Based on Vegas Player Props (RB, WR, TE)

alex bylineHere is a tool you can use in your Week 5 DFS research. We’ve aggregated all the open NFL player props available to us to identify how Vegas sees the fantasy production occurring in this opening weekend of action.

By gathering the Las Vegas over/unders on receptions, rushing and receiving yards, we can compare the projected output to the DraftKings/FanDuel pricing as a tool in gaining an edge.

We can, of course, also use it as a tool in making decisions for our season-long leagues as well.

PLEASE NOTE:

– This is not a comprehensive list of all players, but we do our best to find as many props as we can across dozens of different sports books. Players will be added into the spreadsheet as the bookmakers get them to us through Saturday evenings in-season and later in the week during the playoffs. Please check back leading into lineup lock if you don’t see a player you’re interested in listed on the sheet.

Due to the fact that we pull props from numerous sources both online and private, sometimes props between books and line-makers can differ, especially when getting them as early as we do. If we notice a major difference between two reputable books, we’ll update the sheet to use the average of the two props given, while accounting for juice.

– These are not RW official projections, but rather, an additional tool to aid our members in decision making.

– This is not the RosterWatch DFS Cheat Sheet. Cheat Sheets can be downloaded here once available.

– Players with no over/under receptions props available have been supplemented with implied associated stats based on season averages and/or recent trends.

– The “Bonus” column is indicative of the three-point bonus received on DraftKings for rushing or receiving for 100 yards. Players with organic production projected by the bookmakers at 89.5 yards (rushing or receiving – not combined) or over receive three points, 79.5-89.5 receive two points, 69.5-79.5 receive one point.

  1. I was just offered a deal in a 10 man .5 ppr. I receive Aaron Jones and Stefon Diggs I give Sony Michel and micheal Gallup? Seems like a decent deal to me what do you guys think?

    1. 50/50 Aaron Jones vs Sony Michel Sony is a better standard back but kinda seems to be in the doghouse. Stefon is great but the OC consistently is run heavy and the targets aren’t there. Aaron Jones is hurting for volume but his week is going to be featured so now would be the time to get him. Gallup seems to be coming along and I like him better in standard than Diggs unless they change OC or game plans. This week will be big for Vikings as they can do what they want and suceed vs Giants. They have been doing well running heavy with Dalvin. With both top receivers piping up I think this could be a bigger piece of the pie for the passing game.

      1. Right on thank you, yeah if it makes any difference I probably wouldn’t be starting Gallup or Diggs except for possibly on a bye week and I would likely be putting Jones in the flex where I was kinda rotating Sony, Lindsay and Calvin Ridley.

  2. In PPR which 3 would I wish to sit on my bench for depth ?
T Coleman (I own Brieda), Royce Freeman, RPenny, CHyde

    1. coleman, hyde, freeman

  3. Underdogs, 2-2, 16 team PPR, need two Flex out of these: Allison vs DAL, Gallup vs DAL, Mostert vs CLE, Goodwin vs CLE. Thanks!!

    1. Allison should see more targets this week with the injuried. Gallup is less volume more big play but big plays score in PPR too. With Coleman out it has been Breida between the 20’s, Mostert with the passing down work, and Jeff Wilson for the goal line. RBBC yuckiness for a great run game. Goodwin is averaging 2.7 targets a game with a nice adot of 16 yards per target. Has only played in 3 games. Hope this helps you. For me using floor values i would say Mostert>Allison>Gallup>Goodwin and ceilings being Allison>Gallup>Mostert>Goodwin.

  4. 12 team full point ppr league

    Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (RB/WR/TE), 1 K, 1 DEF
    5 bench spots

    Current Roster

    QBs: Deshaun Watson, Kyler Murray
RBs: Le’Veon Bell, Derrick Henry, Kerryon Johnson, Mark Ingram, Jaylen Samuels
WRs: Davante Adams, Tyler Lockett, Brandin Cooks
    TEs: Zach Ertz, Darren Waller
    K: Justin Tucker
    DEF: Eagles

Last week, Bryon mentioned about trading Mark Ingram. The problem is no one in my league trades at all. They just play waivers using their FAAB. I don’t have any FAAB remaining as I blew it allon Zach Ertz after an owner panic dropped him? Should I consider handcuffing Le’Veon Bell with Ty Montgomery? I don’t think Derrick Henry and Kerryon Johnson have defined handcuffs. What about picking up handcuffs who may step into an every down role with an injury such as Alexander Mattison, Tony Pollard, etc?

    1. 1. get a.mattison now…if dalvin cook goes down, with all his touches it is inevitable, mattison is certainly going to be an RB1 the rest of the season.

      2. gus edwards & tony pollard, same deal…that Dallas o-line can make any RB a 1,000yd rusher.

      3. b.cooks is in the concussion protocol…might need a short term WR3-4…just in case.

      4. with such a short bench, never carry (2) QBs in a one QB league…ever.

      5. with such a short bench, never carry (2) TEs in a one TE league…ever.

      6. after employing #4 & #5 above, use your best asset QB and/or TE to try to trade…remember, you’re not trying to win the trade…improve your roster.

      7. when playing waiver wire bingo each week, ALWAYS drop the K & DEF…it gives you (2) extra bench slots for RBs/WRs until kickoff on Sunday…you never know whose fortunes will change during the week.
plus, this keeps them out of your opponents hands too.
I don’t know why more people don’t employ this strategy…DEFs are never injured and kickers are always within 3-4 pts of each other…just grab a new one every Sunday with a favorable match-up.

      8. personally, i think ty montgomery is useless…should be able to do better than that in a 12-teamer with such short benches.

      1. Thanks. I really appreciate the help.

  5. Post By Srogerss90@hotmail.com

    Full Point PPR
Team Name: Just a little Chubb
    4-0

    QB: Matt Ryan
    RB 1: Chubb
    RB2: Bell
    WR1: Kupp
    WR2: Edelman
    WR3: Sutton
    TE: Ertz
    Flex: D. Freeman
    K: Tucker
    DST: Vikings
Bench: Golladay, C. Thompson, Gore, Coleman, Gallup, M. Andrews, A. Tate, Diontae Johnson

    IR: Kareem Hunt, AJ Green
My question is do I stay put with the current lineup or do I change out the flex or wr3 also do I try to make a move and get someone who is underperforming like a Hopkins or a Theilan or go after say a Barkley the Barkley owner is 1-3 and also lost AB

    1. nice team…congrats on the 4-0 start. you’ll look awfully good once k.hunt and AJ get back.

yes, always target an under-performer like d.hop or an injured stud…owner’s panic…always buy low, sell high.

i’m wary of that vikings offense right now…they just don’t pass enough…i moved s.diggs before all of this press conference BS.

you own two top eight TEs presently…why? should be able to move one for a nice WR or RB.

what is the plan if n.chubb goes down or c.kupp gets injured again this season???
that’s where i would look to deal z.ertz or m.andrews after a huge day for a contingency play.

      my $0.02…YMMV.

  6. Trade question PPR (2-2)

    Receiving – D.Cook
    Giving – Cooper and Djax

Rbs – fournette, CMC, Guice, darrel Williams, Dexter Williams
Wrs- Cooper, woods, Kirk, keeshawn, Ridley, djax, deebo, p.williams and Chester Rogers

    1. I love getting Cook in that format. Amari will not have an easy second half of the schedule.

    2. i’d rather consolidate some of your lesser wrs into 1 good one. you could probably put ridley and djax together for diggs or someone else who’s slumping.

  7. Superflex league…
    .5 ppr tds 6pts int-2
    Bonusses for yards aNd tds

Who should I start at my flex
Diggs Sutton singletary m sanders or Hyde
    Pick 2 QBs
    Winston L Jackson or Brissett

    1. Rushing qb’s have the upside in that one. Jackson>Winston>Brissett Brissett is interesting if TY starts in a catch up mode to the KC points. Good luck on the flex. I’m going all in on a player not to be named in DFS so you have good options.

    2. three strong QBs to choose from…very nice.

LOVE brissett @ KC…they’re going to have to score 30+ win that game…Vegas has this at 57.5!
choose winston for the higher ceiling or jackson for the safer floor…you really cannot choose wrong here.

      personally, i’d go s.diggs & c.sutton.

that being said, is s.diggs going to play intensely with a chip on his shoulder? or, pout & sulk?
hopefully his & thielan’s comments this week open up that offense.

singletary is questionable & a game time decision…no thanks,

sanders is in that doug pederson RBBC featuring j.howard…no thanks.

hyde is averaging just 12 touches a game…no thanks.

that leaves courtland sutton…i’ll take his 8-9 targets over those RB touches.

  8. Need a flex, 1/2 ppr.

    JuJu or C. Ridley? Thx

  9. Tried calling no luck…

    Thoughts on a trade offer..

    12 team Standard dynasty auction
    He’s offering me
    Singletary $11
    Dissly $1
    McLaurin $2

    For
    Ertz $24
    Mayfield $2
    Penny $2

He also has Mahomes for $10 and Ridley $11 everyone else pretty much sucks..

FYI- I have Carson $20 and Matt Ryan $10

  10. Flex Sanders or Chark?
