*****As a reminder, we always recommend using the Cheat Sheet in conjunction with the Vegas Tool once it is published Saturday evenings as Vegas almost always identifies a few value plays who aren’t necessarily on the sheet, but may provide excellent flexibility cap-wise. Sometimes we will update the sheet through the weekend as information comes in from injury reports, Vegas or elsewhere*****
HOW DOES THE SHEET WORK?
THE GOAL of the sheet is to reduce the number of players for the weekly slate to players expected to generate Positive Surplus Value (fantasy points over salary expected points). The player pool is narrowed down to players who meet a minimum number of trends.
THE TRENDS are a series of pass/fail threshold tests of position-specific stats predictors. Through the use of predictive models, we have analyzed every predictive metric we could for each position related to Vegas Indicators, Unit Matchups, Individual Matchups, Historical Performance, Game Script, Weather, and so much more.

Who is the backup to Christian Mccaffery? With the amount of usage he’s getting, my concern is that he will wear down come fantasy playoff time, or have his reps managed (ala Gurley), and/or acquire nagging injuries. Is it Bonnafon or Scarlett?
Side note: thanks to the Tradecast’s prompting, I was able to ship Theilen and next year’s 10th rounder for Hopkins!

My thought process was trying to flip my RB depth to upgrade my WRs. Felt I had to trade one of my NE WRs (which ever I could get more for), and Kerryon (who I don’t think had a very high ceiling) for Thomas who’s, what I think to be, in the middle of a relatively buy low window. With the news that Brees might be returning sooner than expected, thought this buying opportunity wasn’t going to be open for long. Thoughts RW Nation?

I’ve learned my lesson that mobile QBs tend to not throw many passes to RBs. I’d like to think I bought low on Fuller ahead of a potential “get right” game vs ATL.. Thoughts?
