Sources: Michigan State’s Kirk Cousins (QB) and Brian Linthicum (TE) set to attend Senior Bowl

According to numerous reports, the talented QB-TE connection from Michigan State of Kirk Cousins and Brian Linthicum will both be in attendance at this year’s Senior Bowl.

In seeking confirmation this morning, I reached out to MSU Associate AD for Football Media, Ben Phlegar. He would neither confirm or deny the reports, but I got the distinct vibe as I was trampolining from source to source within the department that many knew this to be the case. The “official” word from Phlegar is that the Senior Bowl has not posted their official roster as of yet, and he is not at liberty to comment about inclusion of MSU players until this occurs.

Given Cousins’ first-hand acknowledgement to the Detroit Free Press, we have added the duo onto our unofficial confirmed invites list.
