Survivor Pick – Week 1

My survivor Pick is due tonight and I’m going with the Chargers.

I know its not going out on a limb to choose the Chargers, who are heavily favored at home against a Vikings team coming into 2011 with a lot of question marks on both sides of the ball.

But I like using the Chargers now. Look back at the Chargers schedule from last year, and you will see a lot of games that looked like “gimmes” that definitely knocked Survivor Pool players out. If you watch enough AFC West, you know they always play each other tough.

I feel like the Chargers are coming into the season healthy, they have two healthy solid runners in Tolbert and Matthews- they rarely had this during last year’s 9-7 campaign, not to mention Vincent Jackson who only played 5 games last season.

I’ll take a favorite to start, and hopefully survive to see the Chargers knock out some of my opponents down the road in trap games…
