The Trashman’s Scouting Notes:

Feature running back for the 2012 BCS runner-up Fighting Irish, Riddick is not a particularly fast runner, as his 4.68 40 time indicates.  What the former receiver lacks in speed though, he makes up in movement skills as he more often than not manages to stay on his feet in traffic and has a tendency to fall forward when he finally succumbs. In addition, he is great catching the ball out of the backfield, a carryover from his receiver past.

The Trashman’s Fantasy Outlook for Ace Sanders:

Though a versatile player, Riddick will have a hard time sticking in the Detroit backfield with Reggie Bush being able to do all the things he can do, and probably more quickly. He also has Mikel Leshoure and Joique Bell to contend with for a spot. Riddick will most likely find a role on the Lions’ practice squad or as a spot-duty reserve and not much else.
