Dorian “The Trashman” Colbert, Rosterwatch.com
Height: 6’5″
Weight: 255 pounds
40-time: 4.62
Drafted: 3rd Round
The Trashman’s Scouting Notes:
Prototypical in tight-end stature, Kelce showed up big at the combine, posting better numbers than Tyler Eifert and Zach Ertz, but character concerns left him undrafted until the third round. He’s an exceptional athlete, is a superb blocker, has great hands, and excels in the open field. Think Rob Gronkowski without all the surgeries.
The Trashman’s Fantasy Outlook for Travis Kelce:
Tony Moeaki should be shaking in his boots, because Kelce is about to take his job. And that job should come with much responsibility, as new quarterback Alex Smith loves to go to his tight end. If Kelce can keep out of trouble, which I contend he will, he will be a force to be reckoned with in an exciting Andy Reid offense. He’s worth a late-round flier in virtually every league, especially dynasty and keeper leagues where he should age like fine wine.
