PRO Trashman’s 2018 Week 13 Flex Rankings: RB, WR, TE

Trashman HeaderOften times, there is nothing tougher (or more important) than deciding who your weekly flex-plays are. It can be a mind-numbing experience having to make cross-positional projections.

This season, our RosterWatch PRO community will have personal and exclusive access to our very own disgusting Trashman, who has carefully curated his personal weekly flex rankings in order to help you in gaining input about your roster decisions.

PLEASE Keep in mind, these are not our official RosterWatch Week 12 rankings, but we’ve learned over time to pay extra-special attention to what the Trashman might have up his filthy sleeve – and where he stacks up players against one another for the coming weekend’s slate cross-positionally.

Our OFFICIAL rankings page here on the site will continue to be updated through the day Saturday and Sunday morning as more information comes in and we become more comfortable with player slotting. In the meantime, have a look at how the Trashman sees the Week 12 slate shaking out – as his inputs to our formula are a key (albeit disgusting) component.

    Must win this week to get into playoffs for my squads! Appreciate the help as always!!

    (1) Start 2 in PPR: Kirk, Trequan, or DMartin?
    (2) Start Engram or Uzomah in PPR?
    (3) Start 3 in 0.5 PPR: MWilliams, Amiller, Doctson, Watkins?

      Tough call good options-

      I view Martin as safe and would play him- then id prob go kirk. Wouldn’t have a problem w/ you starting both wr if u arnt feeling martin

      Engram isn’t practicing yet- also hate Uzomah of AJG is back. Suppose the situation will sort itself out. Check the WWCS TEs

      Prob sit AMiller if it’s Daniel at QB again. Keep an eye on Watson’s status

      Thanks Gina- keep grinding and you’ll bust that bubble! As the Trashman always says- making the playoffs is the skillfull part- once you get there it’s a bit of a crapshoot. Capturing the BYE is huge.

      Standard league I prob start all 3 RBs. Don’t trust Hilton in a must win. Woods deserves a lot of consideration- but in standard gun2head I prob roll all 3 rbs. If you love Woods over one of those guys based on your gut or the other tools on the site- we have no problem getting him in

    1) Winston was just dropped. Based on rankings he’s a better play than Luck this week? If so, who would you drop to claim him and then start him over Luck?
    2) Drop anyone for guys like Kirk, Doctson, Westbrook, Gore, and/or R. Freeman?

      Please go by the rankings-

      Think it has to be AB + KA, Michel + Edwards or Martin (I think Martin is sneaky this wk, but if Edwards is good to go and Collins sits- he prob gets edge check the rankings)

      I like Doctson and Kirk this wk- Kirk shld be owned

      Suppose miller and collins can be considered to drop

    Guys first year with you guys and you’ve all have been great keeping in the playoff hunt after drafting myself into a hole with Bell and D. Freeman.
    So must win to get in

    WRs are Woods, Emanuel Sanders, TY Hilton, Tyler Boyd
    Plan on starting Woods and Sanders.

    But the others are in the running for my flex along with Josh Adams and Peyton Barber.

    Thoughts on the WRs and what are your thoughts on the Flex.

    It seems like no one knows what to do with Chris Thompson?

    I need one from this chasm (because Leonard Fournette and Kerryon Johnson are out):
    1 pt PPR
    LeGarrette Blount (11.6), Doug Martin (11.4), Chris Thompson (10), Derrick Henry (8.9), & Nyheim Hines (7.8).
    The numbers are ESPN’s pt projections. Most PPR rankings have Doug Martin highest.

      I would hold on thompson until we see how colt uses him. with trey quinn coming on, he’s not necessarily the first option underneath. Martin has the highest upside imo, as the best combo of runner and pass-catcher here. his usefulness in the passing game should keep him involved even when the raiders fall behind.

    Just wanted to send you guys a thank you. I’ve been playing fantasy football for 6 years and been a member of RosterWatch Nation for 5. I’ve made the playoffs every year, except for last year when I got hit hard by the injury bug, and even then I could have been in if I had won my last game.       would go with the first three, although I feel like it’s a toss up between the last three. If there is one of those you like best, it’s fine, but DJ and Jones are for sure in.

    These rankings push Matt Breida and Antonio Brown. How confident do you feel in those guys? If you were in the semifinal of a draft.com tournament….1QB 2RB 2WR/TE 6 teams total, would you have any reservations about taking Brown in round 3 or 4 and taking Brieda in the last round? We are in the final 36 players out of over 7000 and your rankings have been what I’ve used to set my pre-draft rankings so thanks either way.

    Needing to swing for the fences to survive the first round! I’m projected to lose by 20. I rostered Ware last week as a handcuff! I have used all the tools and mulled over the matchups and I am having paralysis from over analysis! 1pt PPR.
    Starting Gurley, need one more Michele (respect the defense?), Ware(start), Mixon( game flow with back up QB?), Edwards (worried about game flow if ATL gets up big). Starting K. Allen and Lockett..other options are J. Gordon, J. Reynolds, and C. Conely. Needing some expert help! TY Rosterwatch!

    full ppr, michel or dion lewis? they aren’t seperated by much in the rankings w michel tad higher, matchup tool says lewis has much better matchup as 10th best versus 27th worst fo rmichel, player props has michel as -110 to score with more rush yrds/less rec yds and lewis -`125 to score less rush yds/more rec yds. and trashman has michel ranked higher than lewis.

    It would seem better play is michel, but I just don’t like matchup and something keeps telling me to play lewis instead.

    Also on sirius it was said Gordon will break out. I have him benched in favor of manny sanders and kennan allen. Is that still the way to go? I really would rather not play michel and gordon if I don’t have to.

    mixon much better matchup, but chubb bit more prop to score and tad higher in yardage. Jones and ware are my other rbs, with juju, manny sanders and kelce with currently starting rivers over luck.

    I am torn on rivers and luck though as well. AGain rivers ranked 2 higher than luck, but luck with better matchup according to tool.

    Do you think Reed will play vs eagles Monday? I have to make a decision. I could pick up VD just in case and sub him in, but matchup vs eagles for te’s is bad. I can pick up Herndon, uzomah, jonnu smith, everett, etc…

    full pt ppr. I will be in playoffs regardless of win or lose, but wanna win in hopes that 1st and 2nd place lose and I can get enough pts to jump to first for a bye and win reg season $.

    Diggs however better props in rec, yds, and chance of scoring too I think. Diggs is 14th ranked, and Moore 20.

    .5 pp, josh adams or manny sanders in flex? we play 2rb, 3wr, n flex. Already starting dion lewis/chubb (don’t have choice bc fournette suspended, and kerryon out, adams only rb left. At wr starting julio, thielen, and juju.

    may also need to replace reed at TE depending on what you say from above ? lacosse, herndon, uzomah, jonnu are avbl here
