PRO Trashman’s 2018 Week 3 Flex Rankings: RB, WR, TE

Trashman HeaderOften times, there is nothing tougher (or more important) than deciding who your weekly flex-plays are. It can be a mind-numbing experience having to make cross-positional projections.

This season, our RosterWatch PRO community will have personal and exclusive access to our very own disgusting Trashman, who has carefully curated his personal weekly flex rankings in order to help you in gaining input about your roster decisions.

PLEASE Keep in mind, these are not our official RosterWatch Week 3 rankings, but we’ve learned over time to pay extra-special attention to what the Trashman might have up his filthy sleeve – and where he stacks up players against one another for the coming weekend’s slate cross-positionally.

Our OFFICIAL rankings page here on the site will continue to be updated through the day Saturday and Sunday morning as more information comes in and we become more comfortable with player slotting. In the meantime, have a look at how the Trashman sees the Week 3 slate shaking out – as his inputs to our formula are a key (albeit disgusting) component.

      take the shot if you want! he’s still a great upside play. I loved Ito in the evaluation process. a real mighty mouse. the star corners on each team play a role, so it tends to affect no.1 wrs more than secondary wrs from my experience.

    Looking at the matchup tool MY QB has the worst matchup (Rivers) and I am only carrying one.
    Thought on picking up Tannehill, Bortles Dalton, or Trubitsky for the week< Thanks

      I don’t think any of those guys are a lock to out perform Rivers even with the match up. I k ow it’s tough to play a QB against the Rams but Rivers is aying some legit football with a lot of talent helping him out right now. I’m rolling Jimmy G out over him but only because I think he’s gonna need to air it out like crazy against KC. I’d comfortably start Rivers and just not expect him to hit the high end of his ceiling.

      No. Plain and simple you don’t trade top end RB talent for a QB. You could effectively stream QBs this year and get 20+ points every week. But you lose 1 RB and outside of weak 10 team leagues you’re not finding solid replacements. Keep that RB depth!

      I see this as basically Brees for JuJu. I’d lean to keep JuJu based on your roster if there are any other QBs you can consider as a super flex on your wire or in a lesser deal. If QB is completely 100% dry, I guess I’d prob do it.

      Obv starting AR + DB every week pretty enticing. Tough Call. You do have Edelman getting close.

        That’s right, most of the QB wire is dry. Options are basically the backups – Josh Rosen, Nick Foles, etc. Most teams are roster 3-4 QBs. I love Juju to death, but it sounds like the upgrade to Brees over Trubisky + sleeper keeper Kerryon is worth giving up Juju.

      it’s not crazy, as i think allen can be over valued outside of ppr formats. i do think that you have a good team though. i’ve won leagues with 0-4 starts, so i wouldn’t have a fire sale yet. i might try to move robinson as he has a terrible matchup this week against patrick peterson
