HOW DOES THE SHEET WORK?

THE GOAL of the sheet is to reduce the number of players for the weekly slate to players expected to generate Positive Surplus Value (fantasy points over salary expected points). The player pool is narrowed down to players who meet a minimum number of trends.

THE TRENDS are a series of pass/fail threshold tests of position-specific stats predictors. Through the use of predictive models, we have analyzed every predictive metric we could for each position related to Vegas Indicators, Unit Matchups, Individual Matchups, Historical Performance, Game Script, Weather, and so much more.

Using a non-linear model, we’ve found BASELINES for each metric. For each baseline TREND TEST, if the player passed, he receives a [+1]. For example, using the Matchup Tool Rankings vs. QBs, the model found that an Opponent Ranking ranked in the bottom (9) teams allow on average +3.7 surplus points to opposing QBs. If the QB’s matchup is ranked worse than the baseline, the QB receives [+1] trend. In addition to positive trends, negative trends are also included. The model found that the top ranked pass defenses vs. QBs allow on average -5.4 surplus points.

    Hey guys.
    Trading away freeman ATL and Miller for Diggs and Lat Murray

    My RBs are. Hunt D Freeman Ingram Morris
    WRs are. Allen fuller callaway Miller merideth and tre quan and Washington.

    I don’t trust Freeman’s injury. And Murray can get me till Ingram and who knows how bad cooks hammy really is???

      Don’t hate it, don’t love it. You might be getting the most reliable player of the lot, in Diggs- so that is good. Murray helps you win now, so that is also good. Freeman we don’t trust either, so that is good.

      You are selling low on Freeman and Miller, and buying high on Diggs and Murray- Don’t like that. You are also trading for two players on the same team.-Don’t like that.

      Could you do it for Miller + Callaway or Fuller? Or, Freeman + Callaway or Fuller? Or Ingram + Callaway or Fuller?

      We’d prob only take the current deal, if we are in an absolute must win situation this week and had to play Diggs / Murray to feel good about getting the win. Otherwise, you guys should sharpen your pencils a bit.

    Drop Sony Michel for murray? Opponent this week is short on RB, and would certainly grab him if I dont (he was dropped this week and requires a waiver)
    Worth securing the chance to win one for a season of sony?

      Probably, yes esp if you can play Latavius yourself this week. Slightly more questionable if you can’t, but nonetheless we like your thinking of being in it to win it this week, and Sony very unlikely to determine outcome of your season. Good thinking. Aggressive move, we respect it.

    Looking at hyper for FD. For an ideal cash lineup, what projected pts, own% and trends should I be looking for? Maybe I just need to keep on spinning but seems I remember higher proj pts and own % when I used this last year. Thanks guys
