PRO Trashman’s 2018 Week 8 Flex Rankings: RB, WR, TE

Trashman HeaderOften times, there is nothing tougher (or more important) than deciding who your weekly flex-plays are. It can be a mind-numbing experience having to make cross-positional projections.

This season, our RosterWatch PRO community will have personal and exclusive access to our very own disgusting Trashman, who has carefully curated his personal weekly flex rankings in order to help you in gaining input about your roster decisions.

PLEASE Keep in mind, these are not our official RosterWatch Week 8 rankings, but we’ve learned over time to pay extra-special attention to what the Trashman might have up his filthy sleeve – and where he stacks up players against one another for the coming weekend’s slate cross-positionally.

Our OFFICIAL rankings page here on the site will continue to be updated through the day Saturday and Sunday morning as more information comes in and we become more comfortable with player slotting. In the meantime, have a look at how the Trashman sees the Week 8 slate shaking out – as his inputs to our formula are a key (albeit disgusting) component.

    1. Other team says he’s interested Zeke, Mixon, Kerryon and MAYBE Howard. Originally I got offered Evans, Michel and Barner for Zeke and Kupp so looking for help on a few counter offers I could send? I know Michel was a buy low but I think I need the WR boost with Allen on bye and Kupp still out. I know I should consolidate my RB depth and Drake and Howard are my ideal sells but honestly no one is biting on Drake… Who is the most you’d give up for Diggs or even Evans?

      1.drake might get some looks after last night. and yes, howard is the other guy you would want to move. i’d give kerryon if i really needed the wr help too. you can afford to pair howard and drake for one of those guys as well

    Do I sit Engram for Seals-Jones or Herndon this week? Or trust that Engram will shake the rust off this week?

    Herndon seems to have something with Darnold; and has the feel of Engram from last year in that he’s the only target left.

    Seals-Jones supposedly has the best matchup, but it’s the Cards.

      It’s a high upside play but I’m getting worried about LF not getting back until possibly Week 10. I think I hold on to Kerryon and ride the wave and see if he can keep it up.

      Wouldn’t do it until we get clarity about length of Michel’s absence, Golladay has been a GOAT this season, even on the bad side of TD variance with all of those long ones that have been called back.

    Just looked at flex rankings and I’m torn for my flex spot in a PPR: Alex Collins, Isiah Crowell, Allen Robinson. Looking for which has highest ceiling since they’re all so close in rankings.

      Think A Rob has the highest ceiling but I’d defer to Trashman’s flex rankings – that is a tough group. Would also keep an eye on what reports are about A Rob’s health to make sure he is at 100%. If it were my team, I’d probably start Crowell – he could see an uptick for PPR with Powell out.

    I have Gurley, Mixon and K Johnson currently starting with Mack on the bench. Would you start Mack over one of these? Is he good to go this Sunday?
    For WRs I have Juju, Golladay and Godwin currently starting with Martavis on the bench. Would you start Martavis over one of the current starters.?

      We don’t know on Mack. I’d probably leave in your guys as is anyway. If you want upside, you could mix in Martavis for Godwin, but it’s not a must-replace situaiton.

      Yuck, tough call over Murray. Mostert might be the safer play in a Shanny offense in a matchup that shld have a solid game flow for SF RBs. Murray tough to sit after last wk but has dissapointed before. Personally as a. latavius owner- Id prob have a tought time sitting him if I needed him
